Yeah I think ubi put this on hold also. It's sad, to me the best version of this game was its initial release. The problem seems to me that they didn't know how to transition this game from short term profits to long term sustainability. Poor management probably. I have to agree that the best version of the game was the initial version. I loved the original version and with each update it has gradually gotten worse. I gave up playing but still check back once in a while to see if they have any plans on making it better. I would be happy if they just changed it back to the original version even though I have all the cards.

Really? Some cards are pretty useless, but things like Incite Revolt, Holy Day, BoMT and Losing Faith are great.

Yes the original mechanics were so clever.

I guess the original mechanics are still there. Only overshadowed by more powerful cards...

No one thing I miss was the tight delay of instants. I really loved that mechanic, the cost of leaving it just too late. That one I will never forgive.

I bought some games for the iPad lately (now I don't play ACR that much). I often play pc or Xbox if I have longer time. Meaning the iPad is mainly for games when I don't have long. I still miss a good game you can pick up and enjoy for 5-10 minutes that still has a level of strategic depth that makes it interesting.
Anyways, some games I've enjoyed: Walking dead: great story and very well done. It will make you think and react! Still only at episode 2 of 5. Requires full emersion with headphones. Walking dead assault: good action game. 5-10 minutes tactical action. Battle of the bulge: ww2 tactical turned based game. Looks very promising and very well executed. Enjoyed the first hour if it today. I'm a tactical/strategy geek. ww2 geek. Board game geek. Actually complete geek. Baldur's Gate. A classic I'm replaying. Has control issues but still nostalgic. Haven't play much though.

Android Netrunner is SO DAMN GOOD. Can be played online too, but you should really get the real game first

If it is not on the iPad/iPhone I don't think I'll play the TCG. I mainly use I iPad for shorter games. Longer gaming streaks I play Xbox or pc. Right now dota 2 is getting some love. Just got assassins creed 3, so will play that shortly.
Would love to try net runners if it was on iPad.
Accession is actually a fun casual card game. It was free not long ago (may still be) but I bought an expansion pack today because I enjoyed it so much.

Android Netrunner is SO DAMN GOOD. Can be played online too, but you should really get the real game first Where can you find it online? There's a system called OCTGN that runs card games, pretty much anything someone will write the rules for. Right now it runs everything from MTG to YugiOh to of course Netrunner. I only play Netrunner. If you're interested: dbzer0.com/blog/androidnetrunner-on-octgnBut I really suggest getting the physical game first if you're interested, it's much easier to learn IRL, and the Living Card Game format means no meaningless random boosters. That's a BIG plus - you get what you get, expansions come in full playsets, no uber chase rares to pay $50 or 50 boosters for
