I have competitive decks in all colors and color combo's, but are unable to design a good competitive deck using red/blue. Any ideas?

I've got a counter/discard deck and a big site rush/counter deck, and that's the best I've been able to come up with. I frequently have a hard time making a faith deck that doesn't rely on abuses that I either do not want to play or out-and-out refuse to play (surprise doomsday, comboing sacred vault with deceptive sites and with great power, ancestral discovery, etc.), so I don't use faith very frequently. It also has no draw power, so it's frequently easier to sub in scholar (obviously) or media (BoMT) to complement crime or order.

That combo is hard to make competitive - unless going the cheese way of counters and discards like doomsday.
What about building a "fireball deck"? Judgement day, papal influence, "the score half income order card", it would be good if using a win card like pantheon (win if you have score 10). Faith/order has the best anti cards like wrath of the righteous and the order card that kills all sites. You could even use the 10/10 executioner agent. With good income balance, it may work. Problem is draw power though.

I think the straight up burn deck might be the way to go. Unless you use Masyaf, I am not sure I would use the Pantheon/Royal Intervention combo since tutoring and draw would be a problem and you could get stuck with Pantheon in hand with nothing to go with it. RI would still be a good late card. Else you could try something like Masyaf, Heathen Followers, Pantheon/Ri combo, and mix in counters and discard, and maybe Giovani Mocenigo
@jermeyat I am curious what you have for counter/discard? That always seems like a good base but I was always too worried that you and opponent could end up with nothing to win with after countering and discarding everything, what do you use for tutors and winners?

Hi everyone, glad to still see some life in the ACR community
I have had some success with a Rhodes counters type of deck, using maysaf and the erasing counters.
4 dante moro 3 The plan 3 Imperial Gardener 3 Untimely end 2 Honest workers 4 militia intimidation 5 Cyril of Rhodes 5 Maysaf 5 Funeral Pyre 4 court order 5 Guard duty 4 Ottoman janissary 3 Byzantine Brute

I've build a quite successful deck myself as well. It's based on gaining as much card advantage as possible: 5 Templar captain 4 holy day 5 answered prayers 4 militia intimidation 5 underground refuge 5 mysterious stranger 4 funeral pyre 4 ritual sacrifice 4 yerebatan cistern 4 ancestral discovery 4 Suleiman 2 topikapi palace It's doing pretty well so far. Only got hammered a couple of times by dedicated site decks. It's also very fun to play as you get to look at your opponents hand a lot and can decide what to discard/counter based on the cards in your own hand. A lot of interaction is guaranteed! It's not a very fast deck, and I often win by retrieving my opponents winners from the discard pile Have fun! [edit] I'ts apparently not much fun to play against this deck... so use it at your own discretion.
