This deck takes its name from a line in the Arabian nights: "For my confession they burned me with fire and found I was for endurance made."
It centers on the two hardest to kill agents: Silvio and Altaïr learned.
Income / draw 5x Dama Rosa 5x Heathen Followers 5x Santuary's Heart 5x Political Patronage 5x Funeral Pyre 5x Bearer of Mixed Tidings
Core 5x Silvio Barbarigo 5x Altaïr Learned
Utility 5x Tactless Theatrics 5x Role Reversal
Play notes: - Santuary's heart works well with 3 altars scoring and is fantastic to play in a region opponent has at 10. - Don't forget Tactless theatrics works on Altaïr. Handy to bounce him back to your hand if hit by lassitude or SE. - bearer of mixed tiding brings much needed draw. Many games I could draw through the entire deck if needed. Great card, perfectly suited to media. - play the role reversals well. Only defense against site decks and only have 5.
Deck is fun to play. Solid old school agent beat down. Unblockable Altaïrs sneak through enemy defenses while silvios hold the line after the chump blockers exhausted.
Magnetic personality can of course find a home here; I was tired of auto including it in my media agent decks. Without it, still able to beat all but one of the campaign missions and went 9 for 10 against an admittedly mixed field in competitive the other day.

Whut up Matavious, Seems like a nice sequence to me! You got a strong core and good cards to support them... I've been looking for the opurtunity to incorperate Altair the learned in one of my newly coming decks, I don't have all the cards you got but I'll check this one out; I'm really curious about this sequence Because I don't have all the cards you got, would it work if I put in that female harlequin; I forgot her name (Caha?) For giving Silvio and Altair an extra +2 +2?Nice deck building and thanx for sharing!!

Caha only boosts militants.
Losing Faith could be useful since it won't affect Silvio/returns Altair to hand.
Gah, I meant Wrath of the Righteous.
