Jools, unfortunately I'm not familiar with any kind of privacy setting to that effect - however I can set up a board that only forum members can see... But that doesn't really restrict anyone to just sign up an account and accessing it.
So, no referencing system, unless we want to hand-approve every single register on ACRB, which to me seems to defeat the purpose of it.
I can open up the member-only board if that's what you're looking for. It is, I guess, a little bit more private than this.
And yeah to say I'm interested is an understatement, but finding the time to participate is difficult for me, especially since we're scattered all over the globe!!

Not directly related, but someone should also look at FFG Living Card Games: Game of Thrones, Call of Cthulu, and Warhammer Invasion for iOS conversion. I really want to play those but can't find the time and friends for face-to-face play.
Also Netrunner... heard awesome things about it but haven't actually tried it.
I know you can use virtual tables program to play but I want polished, rule enforced games like ACR and Magic Duels of Planeswalkers.
Frankly speaking I'm not interested in Magic anymore or similar TCGs. I don't really see innovative and interesting mechanics from 12 years ago. I also think Land for resource mechanics is a design flaw.

It's an ancient mechanic I was just looking at some of the newer magic cards and they are absolutely bonkers. Annihilator? Level up? Aura? There are some really crazy stupid things going on there, and clearly it's just coming up with more and more crazy damn mechanics to sell more cards. None of the new cards interact well with old cards, and you end up not playing the game but playing one expansion after the next. Milking the hell out of poor followers of the type 2 game. Thats why I love ACR right now - its pure, deep, uncomplicated (really just compare it to magic right now) yet incredibly difficult to master. Well balanced, etc. I hope it NEVER goes the way of uber expansion packs to keep afloat. NEVER!
