In terms of the "lower than 0" debate, you should never get lower than 0 except in scoring. Letting an agent's attack power go below 0, that's just dumb.

Since the update my "network out of sync" errors have increased. For the past 3 days I only earn 10xp when I lose, when I win I get the maximum xp earned message and get 0xp. Very frustrating, especially when a game gets interesting and I get the sync error. I also get a lot of messages saying I won because my opponent left the game although there is no reason for them to leave at that point as it is fairly matched, early on and running smoothly so no need to quit because it's a slow game. I am no longer able to play a game tethered to my iPhone as it will never connect to an opponent when tethered. All in all a definite move in the wrong direction with regards to being able to actually play the game online.

If this was a PC game or something other than an iPad specific game I could kind of get it. However when iPads are sold as 3G models and this game runs like a 1 legged donkey when on 3G you have to wonder about the lack of foresight.

I permanently play on 3G. It works great Most I the time and terrible sometimes. That indicates that there are fluctuations in service, either by the 3G service provider or the ubisoft servers. I've noticed that my connection is always bad with some people (bronto and Raph can attest to this) and never others, so that indicates that there is a region-to-region connection issue between different providers, either because of poor inter-network switching from service providers, or maybe the ubisoft servers.
Either way, it has noting to do with being on 3G or not.

Either way, it has noting to do with being on 3G or not. Actually yes it has all to do with 3G. The 3G network is not universally the same in all countries, even in a country the 3G network will vary greatly depending on how used it is at the moment. 3G is not supported actually, there's not code to support it, and was never tested. It's only after release that we found some people could play on 3G. We were supposed to cut it in the last patch, but we decided to keep it as a bonus. And don't expect a lot of changes for the 3G since it would require code for every region in the worl to ensure a good stability, even then, some 3G providers block package sending.

Game still crashes after online wins neglecting experience/animus earned. Apologies if already posted. Just passing by to add this.

What I tried to communicate was that its not 3G thats intrinsically the problem, people must check whether they have good 3G or crap 3G. Bad 3G is bad 3G. Good 3G runs the game beautifully. So it's their connections that they must check. But, what do you mean? being connected to the internet via 3G is intrinsically different from being connected via NOT 3G? As far as I understand, yes there are discrepancies between 3G speeds between countries/service providers/etc, but the same can be said of any internet connection. Just because I have "ADSL" connection doesn't mean that it WILL be better than 3G. I have seen 3G outpace ADSL. But that's not the point - the point is, does the game need special code to support 3G connectivity, even if it's running 100% to spec with ping of 20ms, fast upload/download speed, etc? So to simplify to 2 questions: 1) Do games need special code to support 3G? 2) Does being on 3G or not have to do with network problems, even on fast, reliable 3G?

I'm not sure I should be commenting here as I'm not in full possession of the facts but I did read about it a couple of years ago as I was going to Japan and I was wondering if my 3G phone was going to work there.
I think 3G is a catch all term (3rd Gen) There's actually different technology used between different countries. I think North America has a different technology than Europe for example, not just speeds but the whole shooting match.

Yes that's true, 3G is a catch term for a bunch of techs. So's 4G, etc. Over here it generally means connecting to the internet via a faster than EDGE connection through a SIM card (ie mobile network) as opposed to hard lines, fibre optics, ADSL, etc

I've lost too many games today because of the carousel bugs. So frustrating!

2 Macchiavellis resolving at close to the same time with no memories in my hand locked me in the confirm dialog.
How about just killing the confirm dialog when there is nothing there to confirm? Gets rid of Answered Prayer abuse.

Here's a peculiar little bug: If you summon a site at L'Aquila (no sites/agents have power) with Engineers workshop, it will have power.
