So each faction should have something they can do only during day/night, and base the flavour around it. Faith has the discard can only be launched during the day (makes sense, church in the mornings ) Crime can have resource denial that can launch at night only Order can er, grant agents official during the day (so resolve at night... Hmmm or as a surprise?) Media can have day effects + own influence or night effect - opponent influence (very media like, fickle ) Scholar... +income only during day? Just some fun thoughts

I like it! Fits well thematically and breaks it down well. I just wonder of there's too much to remember for non-addicted players like us that study the cards inside-out.
Either way, it's workable (icons or whatever)... Great!

Oh no I don't mean it like that, it'll be like what the card does, blue have a bunch of counters, red a bunch of discards, crime a bunch of kills (agents and sites), green a bunch of draws, etc. This is just to make more cards/flavour to fit into the day/night theme. Although I wonder if these day/night themes will make something different enough - All the abilities take a full day to do again anyway (1/2 to do, 1/2 to rest). Maybe something like Faith, cost 4, action, look at your opponent's hand and play one card from it using your gold. You may only launch this action during daytime. Ok no not quite right

Crime cards working only during the night is so obvious, I wouldn't be surprised if it was already planned for the next xpac.

What about agents who change stats from day to night? You would need to time your attacks/blocks accordingly.

Considering the devs are really listening (see the Crazy Lanz thread) I'm afraid this might just get implemented in the next release I think it too much, too complicated. I could see one crime card work only during night time, but that's it. The game is really a lot about timing, and having a lot of cards only playable at certain times during the day/night would make everything overcomplicated and unplayable...

I think devs are smart, not going to be fooled!

Cardo and Roeb, the thing about this kind of game, is that the player does not have to use those cards if they do not want to.
It's kind of like with a discard lock. The timing is difficult at first because it's complicated, so, a lot of players avoid it. Which is fine. If everybody had the same deck it would be boring.
More options does not mean more complications it just means more choices.
