There will be no deck. But if you care about future of this game bear with me for a moment. I know everyone like to be winner. That's why building all of this Pantheon+RI, Courtesans, Juno and all that stuff. But what you've got in return? XP? Animus Credits? You don't need both, do you? The sweet taste of victory? Is it really sweet? Do you really enjoy it? If you really do - please, carry on, I hope (and almost sure) you will be bored soon and leave.
But if you playing this game to enjoy it's tactical part - where to block, where to play some card, where to try to trick your opponent to lure him to use conterspell - please, ignore everyone who using such cards as 'Juno', 'Royal Intervention', bugged 'Palazzo Senatorio', 'Femme Fatale', you name it, all cards which just let you win without a fight. Just remember names of people using it and quit next time.
Also I'd like to mention heavy discards. You know that game is not flawless and one of that flaws is a lack of cards in the end-game if you not using green. You know that and still exploiting that leaving your opponent without a even small chance to win. This is not a tactic.
I really don't understand why wasting so much money (I was reading here about $130 and $60 and I guess you can't build Pantheon+RI or FF without at least $60) and it's not of my business. But my point here is, you can enjoy game and hit top 10 without IAP. I personally bought game and $1.99 pack to compliment developers and check if assassins cards any better (it was first days of game, haven't played PvP yet).
I realy like that game, stop ruining it with your ambitions, please.
TL;DR Memorize people using 'I WILL WIN!!!111' cards (like Pantheon+Royal Intervention) and quit next time you see them. Stop this plague.

As opposed to the tactical merits of a rush deck? I'd argue a rush deck is the easiest to play. Drop agents, attack, rinse and repeat.
I'm currently playing a Juno deck and let me tell you it's a lot of fun. You need to make a lot of critical choices in when to play your reboots, what to counter, etc. The casting Juno to win part is just to close out a game you've already won. The win condition could be anything really.
Same for the heavy discard decks. To get to the point of locking your opponent in a discard loop (and hence winning the game) a lot of things have to happen before hand. It's not at all easy to do and requires planning and efficient execution.
If you continue to get beaten by those strategies I'd suggest changing your own, before coming in here and crying about people beating you.

With all due respect Sir Hazar, I have played you about 10 times today, you autoquit each time .... I don't actually play any of the strategies you mention. I'm tinkering with a Femme Fatale deck but believe me, it is not as easy to win with Femme Fatale as you think, ditto with Juno.
Seeing as a large section of faith cards are discard based are you suggesting that people should just not use those cards at all?
I actually don't understand your logic, by auto quitting In effect you are giving people more animus credits to buy more boosters to make it more 'imbalanced' for yourself.

Bugs suck, and when I first saw people play Senatorio, I thought "what the?!" And proceeded to win. Or not, it didn't really affect my game, thank goodness.
IRs are kinda cheesy, but then winning with a Papal Influence is just as cheesy.
Large control decks that CAN fire off a Juno are not really that easy to get to. I have beaten a few before.
Pan/RI is another story though, I don't really dig people who play them, but they openly admit it's cheesy. When I see them coming (they run a very easy to spot deck) I make it a challenge to play smartly to beat them. Or not.
At the end of the day, I'm happy with such a diverse pool of win conditions, it keeps people on guard and not degenerate into pound pound pound. While creature exchanges are fun, action exchanges are also fun.
Should they have banned fireballs?

bizare. Ppl like to compete on a high level. I like if ppl use pantheon/RI, because I know how to beat them *of course that doesn't mean that its a freewin. After all blue counters and green draw is a strong combo. RI/Panth is just the win condition of a control or rush deck concept* "Juno and Femme Fatale are bound on not so easy to achieve win conditions." Of course if u have a starter deck, + some others, you probably dont have the cards to compete with the strategy. And since the top is XP based, and you cannot loose points or win mroe if you beat a high rated enemy, you can really reach higher places without an investment. I for my want to explore the cards, delve into strategies. Try wicked combination. The strategies you can do with a card that is 1/1 for 1 are limited. While a card like Political Patronage gives me various strateiges/uses Or think about a cool card like Exit stage right. to use this card at his full potential alot of thinking has to go into your deck.

Some discussion, nice. Didn't expect. Thought that there will be only accusation in crying and whining. So, let's talk a bit?
I'm not sure what exactly you, Crazy Gambit, call 'rush deck'. Is it 'income-income-income-counter-counter-cesare-cesare-cesare-counter everything else'? If yes - I agree, no tactics, easiest to play. Or you just call everything that not using combo - a 'rush deck'?
Would you, please, share which exactly 'critical choices' you making playing Juno deck? Except counter just every big creatures or site, play just every card with income, occasional reboots when it's getting hot? Or it is "should I play Juno now when I've got only 29 gold"?
Same for the heavy discards. A lot of things like Doomsday in hand and Devout Citizens in play? Don't tell me please you need planning to leave opponent without cards when almost every card in you deck do 'discard'.
I'm not getting beaten all the time, don't worry about me. And please, I know it's popular to call any opinion which is not yours a crying, but it's just my view, respect it and I will respect yours.

Dear Diomediae, not sure how you ended up in my black-list, probably because discard. Also not sure it was 10. Doesn't matter. I'm not suggesting people not playing discard I'm just claim it's easy win.
About "giving people more animus credits", don't make me laugh. People with whom I refuse to play already bought everything.
Rancord, I understand desire to explore cards, I wish I could. It's lame that UBI made it possible only for money. And I find nothing wrong about using 'Exit Stage Right', 'Clothes Make the Man', 'Change of Plans' and all that great cards which makes game unpredictable.

And please, I know it's popular to call any opinion which is not yours a crying, but it's just my view, respect it and I will respect yours. For one you have a limited amount of counters, so you can counter every big agent or site. Determining exactly WHEN it's getting too hot to play the reboot is critical. Too early and you wasted it, too late and you're toast. Also you have to take into account whether or not your opponent can counter it. If you don't have a plan B you've lost. It's hard to explain on a vacuum, I feel a video would be much better as I've many super close games that came down to a few key decisions and timing. Edit: Also I take issue with your claim that discard is an easy strategy to win with. I don't play it myself, but I've built a few test decks using it and it's not easy. It's too slow for one. All discard cards are actions. Easy to counter and easy to just play your cards before it resolves if your timing is off.

First off, I in agree in part what the OP is saying. Playing with a limited cardpool, games where I meet a similar level of cards combined with similar skill are a lot of fun. These matches often depend on moments of timing and skill. Rush vs Rush is not easy to play at all, when the decks are about the same level.
However I enjoy the challenge of discard/control decks as well. These can be lots of fun too-- a real mental game-- or you can hang on hoping to get lucky.
Combo decks aren't much fun to play against, although there too I try and win. Yesterday I beat an opponent 2 out of 3 vs Pan + RI. They have their place though, and broaden the play style of the game. I'd only be unhappy if combo decks end up dominant.
Super efficient rush decks-- those with better card pools-- aren't much fun to play either, since I am quickly outclassed. But I can hardly complain about people better at my own game!

As you have seen in the deck section, there is a templar only deck that is highly competitive. Of course some grinding has to be done to achieve the templar rare cards, but its very possible. The game is also quit new and its hard to predict what will stay at the end as top tier decks

Anybody who really knows what a TRADING CARD GAME is (for example, Magic:The Gathering), also knows that there's no real reason to complain about combos nor ingame bugs (never heard that Magic real card game have bugs? They tend to be corrected by banning certain cards... ^^). It's pointless, since people can buy some more boosters than me and, when figured some useful and consistant combo, start to climb the ladder by winning tons of consecutive matches... But people who quit only at the name view can only help these "Timmy Powergamer" by gifting free and easy 100xps. Check careful Templar set of cards, it's very full of counters and TIMING, PROPER TIMING is what makes the difference between buyers-only and skilled players.
Both Diomediae and Crazygambit have matched with me, I won various games (I remember one discard deck of Diomediae, in one game he was overrun by simply playing some counters against his initial rush of discard spells) but they were playing most of time different decks. They won and lose against me. Probably Crazygambit was playing some counter-Cesare deck (I won a game simply by copying two of them, can't be sure was him), but I'm sure he made some lost against me, and one match I quit simply because we were 8-8 / 7-5 / 0-10 (the three regions, crazygambit score-my score) and with me having no cards, he was in play with two sites (+2 / +4) in the first two regions winning automatically at new day start. Deckbuild with a criteria and play properly, don't complain about cards or bug. Even an opponent Palazzo Senatorio can be very useful for me, but that's a trick which remains restricted to my playing skills and decks... And that's the difference about players which enjoy the game vs complainers. There are tons of bugs, that's for sure. Having a limited card pool it's not a bug, it's a choice - completely unreasonable in that precise type of game.
PS: maybe I may appear arrogant or rude, but forgive me, I'm still learning how to properly write english correctly and speak with proper manners... I prefer to write directly what I think, it's only my opinion here after all.

I think you might be confusing "Timmy" and "Spike" there, if you are taking the names from Magic.

Reading the whole sentence will make sense of what I was trying to say ironically... And I was intending to say exactly what I wrote, no more nor less. Nevermind, btw. Don't want to bother with that.
