Hey Baracus, I played you 2 times last evening. You played this deck against my new "Carnefice Call" deck (will post it soon). You got me the first time, but wasn't fast enough the second time. I played 12 games in a row and lost 2 with my new deck. Yours was one of them, so it's a strong deck, but I think indeed it should have 5 Scientific Espionages in it, to counter threats in my type of decks (if you have them! I don't ;-)). See you again soon... column, if you have made some tweaks to this deck, I'd love to hear them. ;-) Yeah, is a nice fast one! I thought i'd try it coz it looked like I had most of the cards for a change! Only have 1 espionage but it was very strong in 90% of the games I played last night. Fastest 500 credits I've ever had! We had another close fight the other night, we were down to like 17 cards each when I looked. That was my cut, copy, paste deck Not as reliable as this church one but was a lot of fun against the right kind of cards

^^ I also have a similar version of this church draw deck and it works like a charm, indeed! Yeah, Copy decks are indeed a lot of fun. Was your deck a discard/copy deck? I remember that one. Intense game! I'm only starting to build copy decks now, since I have enough cards for this concept. My latest one is a Media/Crime deck, trying to keep the opponent's income low. It's fun when the copying kicks in, but it is just too slow to be competitive, atm...

Ok after weeks of testing I have the final build. This deck is very strong, best of luck with it. I'm now off to find something else new and powerful =)
Version 2 Faith- 5x Basilica Di San Pietro 5x Quiet Chapel 5x Seeking Sanctuary 5x Basilica Di Santa Maria Novella 5x Borgia Cardinal 3x Pontifical Highmass
Scholar- 5x Knowledge is Power 5x Converted Chapel 4x Amerigo Vespucci 2x Scientific Espionage (would be 5 if I had them) 3x Field Study 3x Lasitude 1x Daring Experiment

Only daring experiment was affected. Thankfully the cards im using arent in the nerf bucket.

The new nerfs have made this deck even more reliable. the troublesome cards arent a big deal anymore.

CPR provided to this old dog, work will continue until it succeeds as often as before in the new meta. Updated in the OP.

I would max in depth analysis, remove the daring experiment and the seeking sanctuaries and retest.

I would max in depth analysis, remove the daring experiment and the seeking sanctuaries and retest. I see what you're saying. I could add in 3 anti-site or 3 anti-critter at that point. Say tactical upheav for more draw and Power to the people. OR Go for more income... hmmm...

I'm actually shit scared of playing in depth now cos everyone is running scientific espionage and counters... I pack Leo's and Copernicus for draw... Yes in depth is great, but a stolen in depth is fucking terrible.

Well, unless you have other actions that you wanna play with, then in depth is at least decoy for those

Yeah true, but draw is still a major threat.

I play a very similar deck, and I have to say, I prefer Field Study to In-Depth Analysis.

If gold is a problem yeah. Half the time I do have field study I find that I won't have 3 sites. Just half the time. Most of the time I have two more gold for in depth. But they're all scary cards right now

I find myself in the same boat as Tuism.
I could drop what pete said, fill up ID then fill deck remainder with leo's. or vice versa. hmmm
