Hola!
Here is a sequence that I hope you will appreciate because:
- it's original
- it's bug-abuse-free (but not bug free)
- Cesare-free
- Competitive against all decks.
That sounds promissing, I hope that if you try it, you won't get too many losses.
- 1 Rodrigo Borgia
Optionnal, but I named the deck because of him being at the head of it ^^
- 5 Divine Intervention
- 5 Answered Prayers
- 5 Sacrifice Ritual
- 5 Mysterious Stranger
That is because you need to discard the good cards. In end game, use them to discard lock.
- 5 Holy Calling
So you can get the Stranger back again and again, or simply pick up all the Discarded Agents like Cesare or Lanz.
- 4 Paola
- 5 Change of Plans (don't use it when they have full HQ)
- 5 Controled Arson
- 5 Ancestral Discoveries
- 5 Wrath of the Righteous
This is used to control the game. Quite obvious in their use.
PLAYBOOK
1. Try to empty their hand, if they counter your cards, fine.
2. Once their hand is empty, maintain a discard lock as long as it is possible.
3. Destroy or take control of everything they played.
4. Raid the Archive for a win condition.
F.A.Q.
- "I'm ok with cheating. What do I change?"
Instead of Holy Calling and Controlled Arson, you can try to play Discreet Calling and Ezio Assassin (with Mario and Giovanni if you want). But I don't encourage you to do that as long as they are bugged. Abusing bugs is bad, mkay?
- "I want to aggro, not to control. What do I change?"
Less control, and no Crime cards. Put some Media cards in it and Ezio da Firenze. Political Patronage, Machiavelli (combo with Holy Calling!) and maybe Tacteless Theatrics or Magnetic Personality for a very aggressive variation.
- "Too slow... What do I change?"
You can swap out Paola and another expensive card for 5 Plentiful Crap. Oh sorry, Crop.
- "Where are my 5 winning-Cesare?"
In the Archive.
- "What a crappy deck. Are all your decks that crappy?"
Awesome, someone to provide me a constructive feedback in this thread. Can't wait to read it!
- "I'd love to play it, but I don't have that many rares."
Be creative. Ancestral Discoveries and Divine Intervention are replacable. Catacombs and Change of Plans too. Play what you think is best instead, like the Pious Warden, Let he who is Without Sin, Benvenuto, etc.
Enjoy, and if you try it, leave a comment there!
