<edit made a mistake on two cards - included San Polo District and Sudden Exhaust>
Victorinox are the people who make those cool swiss army knifes
This deck kinda does that
Resource
5 Plentiful Crop
5 Forced Inheritence
3 Hard Worker
Fetchers/copiers
5 Family Heirloom
3 Copycat
5 Clothes Make the Man
Counters
5 Court Order
2 Pre-emptive Strike
Utility
1 Condotteiro Tactics
1 Sudden Exhaustion
1 Forli
2 Animus Reboot
1 Venezia, San Polo District
1 San Gimignano
1 Monteriggioni
Win
5 Royal Intervention
3 Carnivale
2 Cesare Borgia
So I’ve been building this deck for a long time, and I *think* it’s mature... It’s had way more wins than losses, and with surprising consistency... I don’t even really know what it is really.
Basics are Family Heirlooms for whatever, usually Animus Reboot. Drop win con depending on what’s on hand/good at the time. Countering stuff as needed. But few games really go this way
Clothes and Copycat - especially Clothes - deserve their own strat session:
Resource - Copying a Crop is a good idea. Especially if you don’t have much else. It makes this deck consistent.
Counters - it’s a counter-counter almost in all cases. If you suspect opponent’s holding a counter, Drop something big, copy it immediately. Almost in all cases people wait to counter - or have only enough resource to counter once. If they counter, drop yours. 80% chance they don’t have another counter or resources to counter.
Copying THEN countering something your opponent throws is a great game-breaker. RI? Papal? Reboot? I can’t say how many times I’ve copy/countered Carnivale. Great fun.
Doubling down on your own stuff - Keep a copy handy - if you know your opponent drops fatties, drop Condo Tactics, and make a copy handy. If they remember they’ll be mindfucked, if they don’t you have an advantage of zero cost... Whatever.
Remember Heirloom is a surprise so can’t be copied - but also can’t be countered. Good stuff. Hang onto it until you really need a solution. Sometimes I have to Heirloom for a Plentiful. So be it.
It’s not as single minded as combo decks, not as safe as control decks, not as fast as rush decks, but it’s fun
And since it’s almost one of everything it’s not hard to build.
Enjoy!
