When I post decks, I try to be original at first, because it gives ideas to others for their own deck, or to find something awesome on their own. Also, it's more fun to face something you don't know that the 8th pantheon/RI deck of the day. I want to keep thinking this way. I know this one is not competitive. I wouldn't go to a tournament with that in the pocket at all. And certainly not advice people to play it as their main deck. Saying it stinks is just being blind. The deck is stronger than you think because apparently, you don't see the synergies it has, mainly with the Followers. Not beating the flavor of the month deck says nothing about a deck (besides that you should wait another month to play it ^^).

It was great fun to play, and the synergies are definitely there - like I was saying I couldn't really find any card to take out or replace cos there was so much synergy going on And most of all it's fun Goodness I'm so sick of pan/ri decks. I think another unofficial errata is in order but also I've been able to beat almost any pan/ri decks after seeing thats the game coming from the opponent - either by holding back big attackers and attacking pantheon as soon as it drops and then countering, or by hovering mob justice or even better Venezia to kill a pantheon as soon as one hits the board (even in a deck sans counter lol) - watching the opponent drop the ri after my Venezia is a laugh riot, especially if you know they also packing scientific. There are many other ways, but of course if you don't have the answer right there and then you're toast. Strong decks are boring most of the time. Fun decks that aren't stupid is great, for me. Bronto keep up the good work

Are we playing the same game? I haven't faced a Pan/RI in what seems like ages. I don't think it's as popular as you guys think. Plus it's pretty easy to beat most of the time (which is why I haven't seen that many I guess). However you still have to build a deck that can deal with it. If it can't, I'm sorry, but it's a stinker in the current meta.
@bronto: I certainly appreciate your efforts to make different and unique decks, please don't stop. Some are truly great. This one though, not so much. I mantain my position that it's premise is just too slow to be competitive. You need to either be fast and have massive threats on the board early or slow and be able to counter those threats. Being in the middle is a sure way to lose to both.

No worries, I will keep posting as long as I have solid ideas. Will they all be competitive? Certainly not. Whatever, I stopped experimenting with the deck in its last version (less defenses, more speed). Too many things to deal with, and it's going in a direction that doesn't match the current evolutions of the meta (surprises > all). So I'll come back working on these synergies when they will give us new cards to play with. Also, I'm having too much fun playing with Media cards right now. Vespucci and surprises make the game fun and strong. I have no will to select a non-media deck like the Draw Cult since I stopped playing with discard. ^^
