Interesting, allows for late game decks.

supposed to help me against weenie rush, esp thief rush but so far, it's useless as the Pan/RI deck runs even faster.
I do need the Glitch in my courtesan deck.
So I am thinking of removing Glitch and adding 1/2 Monteriggioni.
That would ensure my RI cannot be countered.

I use a different control approach. Im using to really control the field and not use a combo to insta win the game.
Income Boost: 3x Plentiful Crop 5x Knowledge is Power 5x Forced Inheritance
Counters: *Swap them around to your liking* 2x Faux-Pas 3x Ultimatly End 4x Court Order 2x Scientific Espionage 4x preemptive Strike
Control: 3x Sudden Exhaustion *lassitude is another Option* 3x Royal Decree
Draw: 4x In-Depth Analysis 3x Quick Study
Winners: *I know many ppl like 4-5 Royals, but I like to mix a bit to not fall into the one answer trap* 3x Royal Intervention 3x Leonardo Da Vinci 3x Cesare Borgia

Yeah of course. Adaptable decks are better.
I have a Blue/Purple 5 Cesare/Carnivale/Exit Stage Right/Calling all stand-in decks with many win conditions; so it's fun to play.
The RI/Pan deck is just noob tube. Brainless.
That said, I did put a bit of thought into building my deck, balancing income boaster and card draw.
It's pretty OP. I just won 3 games in under 4 mins for each game.
5 RI is optimal for RI decks. As a counter vs 'Blue' counters. (forgive the pun!)
My current RI/Pan deck (Used another 49.99 to buy 30+ Assassin packs)
Green:
5 Knowledge is Power 5 Science method 5 QS (Quick Study) 5 Indepth 2 Poison (I would take 1 out if I have 1 more RI)
Blue:
4 RI 5 Forced 5 Pan
Gold:
5 Pilfer Supplies (finishing blow) 1 Glitch 3 Heirloom (to get glitch or Pilfer) 5 Plentiful
Total: 50
Wins very very very fast if played right.

only 5 win conditions? I doubt that you can win against a good blue/green controller. Anyway relying only on the 2 card combo alone, makes your deck ureliable. This is like femme fatale, where you rely on a single action card to resolve

Without Monteriggioni RI won't win the game against Scientific Espionnage and other counters (don't forget you give the RI to the SE caster...). It's just an easy win against the starter decks who populate the meta. And it's neither fun to play with, nor fun to play against. I don't really like the deck. With Monteriggioni, it's starting to be more a competitive deck. But I'm sure a good rush deck can still have it. I don't really like Scientific Method in it, but it will do the trick anyway.

Tried Monteriggioni, it's too slow.
Anyways, i am using the deck for grinding up the ladder. I agree it's very boring to play it.
Naturally, the only times i lose was when Blue counters or Espionnage hits me. But it's not game over always.
1. They need to have available gold to counter RI. And it's tricky. They need to advance their own game while watching out for me.
I do Pan/RI one after another, no breaks. So it's very fast.
2. Sometimes I do a second RI behind the first RI pretty fast. So they need 2 Counters? Not everyone has 2 at the right time.

I hate Pan/RI Too single-minded But it's super strong. It's a ProsBloom And decks shouldn't count on a bug to be effective *rant over* (just got my ass kicked by a Pan/RI after I epically Cloths Makes The Man his RI AND Preemptive Striked it. Drawing a Cesare

My version packs its own Scientific Espionages and Court Orders against other combo decks and to protect Pantheons. SE and Court Order, I think, are essential for both defense and offense. I use less Pantheons because you usually only want to see 1 or 2 in your hand. It is probably slower but more stable.
Monteggrioni in its buggy state practically nullifies counters. If they counter it, all counters become useless (bugged). If they don't, then same effect.
