would be interesting to see if the deck building posts dropped at the same time the forum area was changed? Unfortunately work is taking over my life at the moment so I havnt played for a while. Still want to list all of the decks the AI uses in the challenge modes, I got as far as building the deck to do it but havnt been able to sit and do it yet I am on the train for an hour or so today so I might see if I can do something then, but not sure if ill have enough space for the ipad, a notepad and be quick enough to scribble the carasol down. I might even download and install the ipad recording app and just make a video of the opps deck and make notes later... that might work best I wondered the same thing, I think that the extra click *is* irritating. But some order was needed... So I'm thinking of moving the deck discussions (not decks) into this general space instead of having another sub-board Also, btw, instead of doing a video (which is more difficult), you could just take a few screenshots with home+power button and come back to them later Cool good luck with the endeavour

Nico deck, cannot deal with Vaticano district, unless you are fast enough. You could only add the 3 cost gold site, but then u suffer at the agent control side, wich isnt that good either.
Most decks are kind of a gamble right now. Except order, you have no weak matchup with the usual suspects. You can still loose games, but there is no autoloss matchup.
If I play other decks I usually am so lucky that I meet decks that autowin against mine pretty easy.
If I have a dama I can stop ONE Antonio. Chances that he gets more of them with discret Calling is quit high. Usually my enemy has 3+1-2 Lanz where I cant block enough with the 1-2 dama.
Also I neeed dama and PP/Site to be fast.

regarding the screenshot idea, that was my original intent, however with the loveable icloud now, I have my imac, ipad, my iphones and more importantly my wifes iphone hooked into the same photo stream, and she moans like a bitch whenever I fill up her stream with screenshots of the game lmao

I've been working on this 5X deck for a while but I'm still having trouble with it.
I'm sure it's been posited and perfected elsewhere but I haven't spotted it in the few builds I've seen online and I'm kinda enjoying the experimentation of it.
Faith:
5xBasilica di San Pietro 5xRoman Temple Ruins 5xPapal Bull 5xSeeking Sanctuary 5xPontifical High Mass
Scholar:
5xPrestigious College 5xPalazzo Library 5xMaster Engineer 5xIn-Depth Analysis
Gold:
5xTactical Upheaval
I'm missing out on some better cards like Lassitude because I only haven't got five of them yet but Papal Bull does a remarkable job against Tower/Gallery rushes and Lanz/Grimaldi spam.
The core idea is to keep dropping Basilica di San Pietro and Palazzo Library in between either Temple Ruins or College with a Engineer out and drive up the influence ridiculously fast.
When it works: It works great. When it fails it fails miserably without any fight whatsoever.
The tactical upheaval I threw in there for money, card replacement, and ability to neutralize 0/x agents with gnarly abilities and reverse some of the more common high offense low defense cards.
I fiddled around with Capella Sistina but Sistina throws off the replacement groove and Influence is infuriating to have when you could have Analysis to get extra attempts at an engineer.
It's unfortunately not versatile enough. Either it's CRAZY FAST and drops people like a rock or I sit there and get hammered with 3 engineers and a PI rotting in my hand.
Not sure where to go next but something is wrong.

I've got this kind of combo decks with Engineers and Architects, for card draw and super influence drops - the problem with any combo decks relying on key cards is that if those don't show up you just sit there twiddling your thumb playing support cards that look pretty but does nothing on their own Including quick studies and card draw helps, to a certain degree, but still isn't fast enough when compared to decks that completely work together. But I love playing well themed decks too

Yeah me too. I hate it when I have a good themed synergistic deck but I know it needs some tweaks because inevitably I'm going to dilute the theme.
Which is what happened. It's much better and extremely successful now, just, no more Gardener theme. Now I have The Indecisive Pope!

Which you would have crushed with that discard deck today, by the way, if not for the Network out Of Sync business. =)

Which you would have crushed with that discard deck today, by the way, if not for the Network out Of Sync business. =) Did I play you today with my discard deck? The servers have been acting up and I know I was booted mid-game from a couple I had/was about to get the complete lockdown. Speaking of servers, last night I was matched up 6 straight times against the same player. He played the same deck each time, I started playing other to see how they fared. My engineer deck got demolished when all I had were engineers in my hand and no sites. Others did much better, but combo decks are tough when you don't get that combo. Any idea why the server kept matching me against the same person?

I don't think that was me. I have the same thing happen with the re-matches against the same player. I figure it's because both players go to request a match at the same time while others are currently in matches. If you wait about 30-60 seconds you'll usually get someone different.
Also, my chameleon deck is doing pretty well ... except against land decks. Heh.

I am working on perfecting a deck-out sequence right now...I'm finding it hard to create a balance between agent defense and site defense until I can deck them out...and in general just trying to find a way to speed up the process. It's a Faith/Order deck using mainly Buried Cathedral and Novella Catacombs to seal the deal. Once I had all three of my sites filled with BC and that means 12 cards/day discarded...won that match VERY quickly but it's not always that easy. Cards like Let He Who is Without Sin and Ritual Sacrifice help, but I need more copies of them. I also need suggestions for deck-search cards that are either Golden, Faith or Order to speed along the process. Unless there are better solutions than what Order cards have to offer, in which case I'll re-do that half of the deck.
Otherwise, I am working on a Courtesan deck, but I need Femme Fatale. I also really want to build a deck around Juno once I snag a copy (or 5, lol). I guess you can tell from my style that I like special wins, not the classic just getting 2 regions to 10. . I do have another Faith/Order deck where the goal is actually controlling regions, mostly with powerful agents, Borgia Tower, Templar Sanctum and Papal Influence (that card is RIDICULOUS when used correctly!).

Just an update, am playing with 'counter draw' and 'counter recurse' currently. Basic combo: preemptive strike + (indepth or ANC.dis.). Win con: lucretia. Marco, teo.
Fun for now. A lock deck, lock occurs when opponents has almost no agents on board and no cards in hand. While your hand has counters and agents on board.

Check out the >deck destruction> deck in deck discussion > competitive, I personally have tried it and it works incredibly well as a buried cathedral control deck its media/faith Yes yes, I did see it and it looked pretty rad! I copied my Discard deck and started building it, but I'm missing a few key cards on the Media side, and until I get them, I can't afford to be rid of Court Order yet =/ BUT when the Auction House pops up, I will certainly finish it up. I have an Ezio: Assassin I can stand to part with, and I FINALLY nabbed Juno, so I'm trying to build a deck around her for the shiggles. Also loving a deck I read about with Forgotten Temple, but I keep getting swarmed by agents before I can successfully swap (since you keep what's in your hand and on the field, just swap sequences). I am really loving the game, though...and I look forward to seeing some more awesome alt-win decks!

Building/tweaking a deck with basically all fierce agents (18-20 of them), 4 venezia districts for anti site and the rest are actions, mostly quick income boosters and some counters. idea is to get money fast and spam out a couple fierce agents. Only downside so far seems to be strong counter decks. My deck does have some draw power from a tac upheaval and condotiero tactics, but enough to keep up with a counter/draw. Really just playing around with random cards until AH comes out so I can complete some of my main ideas.
