Been trying to find a usable deck based on concept of using some of the cheaper action cards boosted by placement of a Monteriggioni site but I am struggling with what else the deck should focus on.
I put my own carneval in, but the original idea was to take enemies agents, so I guess best bet is crime + order? Or you need red, to get at the neautralised agents? Or green to get at the Monteriggioni quickly? It's a conundrum...
I thought using actions that copy or steal an agent or action would work well bug the cards for these types of functions seem to be scattered in all colours. There must be some other cool tricks those slow actions can do that overlook normally coz they're too prone to counters, but with Monteriggioni it takes that worry away, which sounds like it should be powerful!?
Would live to have your thoughts!!

I think there is a lot of fun/evil to be had with green's cards, moving and bouncing at instant speed.
You could probably also use the Pandemic/Doomsday combo to most evil effect, and then decide if you want to recast Monte.

I decided to try a deck. Using faith , suprise discards and Ezio ( gold ) and nico. It's ok, I'm suffering from draw problems at the moment but just testing it so far, need tweaking.

My 2 cents: if you're gonna rely on Monterigionni then you shouldn't rely on ezio etc for a win as they don't get a boost and it gives the focus away, allowing decks that deal with agents well (my own with exhaustion lassitude etc lol) to take advantage with that. The most obvious thing to do with Monterigionni, I thought, was to draw cards at instant speed with in depth to feed more in depth, drawing a whole pile of cards, perhaps going to draw to win with Leo's workshop or income to win with merch guild. Or instant RI or Judgement day. Anything that's action on action action (lol) will benefit from this a lot. Any of the self-replacing cards will be great (forced charity, the cheaper draw/discard action, behind closed doors is VERY interesting) until you run out of gold... But overall the reliance on Monterigionni to hit (6 cost or 8 cost from workshop) bothers me... Keep at it! You might stumble on something super fun

Yea monte isn't really fitting into my deck, so I'm going to take it out for something better, I guess that's how these things evolve

I've managed to create a pretty strong deck using Monte - uses Papal Influence and Royal Intervention and then uses archive diggers to reuse them. With Monte up it can win very fast.

That's a cool idea there I like it! Don't have enough Ancestral Discoveries to build (suppose Benvueto can also do) that but it does sound very cool

I'm going to try a femme fatale deck again. An uncounterable femme fatale is a big plus.

I played a femme fatale deck today (my assassin packs led me down that path.). It won fairly often, even though I could never get monte into play.

Well a countered Monterigionni is one less counter for your femme fatale, I guess

I either never drew monte or they were discarded. I only own two copies, and I always wanted to tutor for femme first.
