Erm, there are no card changes so the meta's pretty much the same.
What's nice is that there will be less people exploiting 'bugged' cards/decks.
Ie. No more Plazzio/Reset decks, Uncounterable Crime Agents deck, or Monteggionani-abuse decks, or any decks exploiting Plazzio.
The changes are good; these decks are not supposed to work this way anyways. So most of us here were already not playing with these decks before the update.

Ironically last night I saw TONS of Palazzo players. They never got to the reboot part though, but I REALLY wanted to see a Palazzo player blow up all his stuff and go "wtf!?" I think the meta's unchanged except for obviously the bug players. That means... I guess... Even more counters cos there's no fear of uncounterable agents, but to be honest, counters being popular is nothing new. Palazzo decks were really never a real concern. They have to get really lucky to get past "real decks"

Well I played tons of games yesterday. I didnt loose a single with blue /green (well cept the one where I accidently took the starter deck of course)
I took a site deck and met the crime agent 3 times that kills sites when scoring. I took combo and lost. I took the Purple/blue deck and lsot to discard.
Green/blue is the best package for me, and by far the most consistent deck. The others are not good for every situation, and you need to rely alot on your luck to draw the right cards.

I think that's not too far from the truth. My most consistent deck has been my Cesare Salad (get it, blue/green? ), but it'll be a bleak day when I stop playing my other ones like College of Trade, Borgia Renaissance, Leave them Nothing, Victorinox, Double Down, Forgotten Realms, Assassin's Greed (especially proud of naming this one), etc No I haven't posted half of these decks, but they're not really ye olde cookie cutter decks, and I'm still refining them And I reckon site only remains one of the strongest strategies right now despite overwhelming power in Lanz and Cesare. It's the perfect anti-meta.

Site only is very vurnable to certain cards. The crime agent that scores, the site that takes ure site, or the gold site that destroys em. Or Royal Decree. And of course counters.
As well, with certain decks I can easily fall to Lanz. With blue/green Lanz is no issue. The abillity to push away all his score with Royal Intervention usually solves alot of problems.
Any other deck as said, it works good, but some things allways surprise you. Cards that are usually bad cards, are suddenly very good against your dek. While with Blue/green there is nothing unorthodex that can foil your plan usually.

Sites are. Agents are obviously the life of the party, so to speak - and therefore people pack to deal with them. I love playing AP to see people sit with a hand full of Untimely ends + Sudden Exhausts to my site decks I'm not saying sites are better, I'm saying people tend to pack less for them. It's a metagame choice While I agree the counter everything approach is strong, I'd rather explore other solutions And I'm doing just that a lot

Meta = surprises.

Well the Meta isnt really that much surprises. Rather whats strong at the current meta settings is surprises. Still Card draw is more consistent, than a fully surprise oriented deck. While the Purple/Blue super surprise deck has a 55/45 matchup against Blue/Green. It has also some matchups, that are discard oriented for example or Vaticano, where they have a really bad chance. While Green/blue has no really bad matchup. Order is clearly the most complete package atm , it only misses Card Draw.

Hopefully there are enough ways to counter blue-green (even if they have other weak matchups) to maintain a decent amount of variety. I'd hate to see the game devolve into a bunch of mirror matches - that would be dreadfully dull.

That means... I guess... Even more counters cos there's no fear of uncounterable agents, but to be honest, counters being popular is nothing new. This was a huge problem with M:TG for a while. It got to the point where you were running something blue or you just weren't competing. They nerfed counters pretty hard, reducing the number in the mix and increasing the cost. As a result, the game balanced out pretty well between the colors. I don't think blue needs the counters to be a viable color, and it would have been better to see them spread between the colors, but it is what it is. I think getting rid of uncounterable agents was a mistake, but hopefully the expansion introduces something else to make counters less dominant.

I've seen a lot of agent rush decks, but that might be a blip in the meta.

Funny, I'm seeing a lot of big sites. Although they're always with agent rushing too. I really think we have a diverse field now. Maybe
