To be precise, if Montegrionni is countered, all surprises become normal actions. Lost few games that should have been won because my counters became useless.
I think even neutralizing Montegrionni has the same bug effect.

no I use my royall decree to kill it, and actions stay surprises. well the surprise ones

Dragging out this old idea  Got 3 Femme Fatales now, finally, but I can't find a viable Femme Fatale deck, either with Borgia tower OR Art gallery it's all still pretty weak. It doesn't work without green draw at all? Anyone played Femme Fatale decks successfully? |

I keep going back to them and trying diff ideas out but I always reach the same outcome. Long drawn out games or fast wins or quits . Either way I just find it too frustrating to play. If they added some more courtesans it would be more fun to play. If the scholar and media ones could be used in the same sequence , then it would be more fun and I think it would be more popular but obviously that goes against the flavour , ditto if Caterina was a courtesan. I'm currently testing a faith one, with the site that scores when your agent dies, so your basically just recycling with Maddona and holy calling and suiciding your courtesans. It's crap btw, but I still want to find an enjoyable femme fatale deck |

My green/black courtesans deck gives me a lot of wins. And is interesting to play. The courtesans can do (and must do) a lot of work to slow-down your opponent to be able to play Femme Fatale and win.
What I use is:
5x Paola
5x Coy Courtesan
5x Beguiling Courtesans
4x Fiora
4x Madonna
3x Teodora
4x Claudia Auditore
5x Quick study
5x Scientific method
4x Femme Fatale (I have only 4)
2x History glitch
2x Lassitude
2x Indepth analysis
And recently I put in my 4 Monteriggioni as well (deck size now 54).
Monteriggioni has really helped so far. Turning my "save-my-ass" memories and Femma Fatale in surprices, but the deck was already good without it.

I am running a similar deck, with fewer rares. So far it does pretty well. Claudia is great, I run 5 of her.

Fiora Cavazza should be awesome now. It should be able to kill all the bosses now. Before it couldn't block Cesare, i.e. the only one that mattered.
In fact I'm gonna go work her into a deck right now.

Monteriggioni is the key card in my "Fatal Chicks" deck! I also play a black/green version and I always make sure I get a Monteriggioni out asap. This boosts card drawing so much and makes Femme Fatale unstoppable.

In fact, I haven't seen anyone play courtesan deck as good as me..

i dunnon people. Don't remeber any difficult encounters with courtesan decks. Very easy to keep enemy courtesan count from reaching 6. Especially if other deck doesn't have counters. Besides, i usually steal femme fatale before player can play it

Yeah haven't had any troubles from femme fatale. Haven't even seen one played in I dunno how long. Whether that's cos I haven't met femme fatale decks or if they just don't get far enough to play it I dunno.
