oh so you have updated. OK well I've had that happen to me a few times, but never twice in a row. Played against Baracus. I think we're on our 100th game this evening

I'm digging the balance changes, even playing decks full of nerfed stuff makes me feel better

I disagree, I'm still massively countering, I just have to support it now with other things... It's a different build, but it's still possible (just not ridiculously strong ) Edit: wait i'm probably not as massively countering as you - I only have 1 Silvio Barbarigo and 3 Rapid Demotions Cesares are still powerful anti-counters but not imba against everything as you can still block it. I also really enjoy the fact that Lanzs can be handled without it being useless. Good nerf Overall decent agents can compete with great agents, situationally. Love it

Ah, I can connect now, don't know what was happening.
Yeah, the balance changes are exciting, I feel like there are a lot more interesting choices to be made in terms of which agents to include now (I wonder if Lorenzo will catch on as the only boss with Fierce). Cesare still seems quite strong (great as a surprise blocker) but not the "I have to specifically plan against him in every deck" agent he used to be.

I'd rather build an entire deck around Ezio di Firenze than to include Lorenzo willy nilly - he's THAT terrible in my view I actually also love that my Cesare gets to be blocked and that people will actually block my Lanz now. It really makes the field more interesting.

Hello,
Indeed, Raphael digged up the correct balancing list that I posted before. There is actually one little difference: Against all odds and Radical Demotion kept there Income bonus.
Apart from the Memory balancing, the version also includes the Japanese translation and a few bug fixes.
Here is the list of changes as posted on the AppStore:
- Memory balancing. - Japanese translation. - Safe Agents are marked with an icon. - Memories' text now include reminder icon for expertise and Faction. - Access the leaderboard and achievements from the Profile menu. - Challenge 10 fixed. - No reward is given to a player who quits an online game early. - Bug fixes (carousel, online, rewards, etc,)

Thanks again Marc Again if we can get a changelog against our reported bugs that'd be awesome. When you get around to it

I'm going to have to rework all my decks now even my pan/RI. Pan/RI is going to be hard to pull off now with RI being nerfed. I do think the changes were needed and glad to see the nerfs but 3 of my favorite decks can't win now without some changes.

I stop playing my 3 main decks because they were not competitive and played a couple of my first decks I made. I hadn't played them for a while. My noble rush and milt rush decks and won both games. I haven't even looked at them but will now look and see if I can make them better.

Dang. I don't like these changes. I think I have to rebuild my decks now.
[EDIT] *Hrm*
Initial thoughts: gotta rebuild all of my decks now. There is one downside to digital cards; they can be modded easily at will. MTG has errata, restrictions, bans but very limited ones.
At least theres no AH yet. I'd be pissed if I spent a lot of credits on cards only to have them nerfed into nigh-uselessness. This could turn off a lot of players/potential players.
These changes probably make the game more beginner friendly. These changes make some of the rarer rares less powerful, perhaps making the game more competitive between people who've spent varying amounts of cash.
*Biggest issue for me* perhaps next to the fact that these changes happened at all: these changes slow down the game. The pace online is slow enough, without the speed up button. Now games will take longer.

Oh, and I just thought of something else: these changes might limit the number of top-tier deck types. With some cards all-around less powerful, this might limit viable strategies. The game won't be fun for me if, like MTG, everyone is playing the same three decks.

It is too early to say if this will open up or close the meta. At least theres no AH yet. I'd be pissed if I spent a lot of credits on cards only to have them nerfed into nigh-uselessness. This could turn off a lot of players/potential players. I really hope they do not make further balance changes once AH is out, for that reason.

The game won't be fun for me if, like MTG, everyone is playing the same three decks. As Ringel said, it's also quite possible that the balances will increase the number of viable decks, by making more cards useful. Right now I'm predicting it will open the meta up at least a bit, especially in terms of agents - Cesare and Ezio were so ridiculously good for their cost that they rendered a lot of 6+ cost agents useless by comparision (IMO, obviously). It seems like much more of a contest at that price range now.

Radical promotion has had its income boost removed.
Viewing cards in the gallery, as you swipe from page to page the previous page of 6 cards will swop positions.
