Lanz is still ok. If you can't remove him and he campaigns - any blockers will be killed by his threat.
And I think Multiple Lanz still stacks too. Plus Volpe - Lanz is ok, i think.

Just saying that there are less dead cards now and much more open fields to run in. This Also magnetic personality should let him score even if he's blocked, I've not tested that yet though

What are everyone's thoughts on Faux Pas after the update? Even though it has lost it's income boost, I think it is more powerful now given all the "lose all your gold" cards being dropped to zero cost. I didn't really consider this card before because it was really only useful if you drew one on your starting hand. Now, it could come up late in a game and kill a one of those zeros when your opponent is in the 20+ gold range.

The Faux Pas thing was spoken about during the exchange between marc and us, yep it's now not entirely useless against income boosters only. I think it's lost a bit of its gilded edge (cos really it was REALLY a great deal as an income booster - deny AND boost - better than other income boosters cos if you draw a plentiful crap late game it's still useless) but it's really MORE useful now as utility and less as income booster. On the balance - not a dead card

My bad about Against all odds and Radical Demotion... They have indeed lost their Income Bonus as well.
Sorry for the miscommunication !

By the time they drop an x card you should have no trouble using a regular cost counter. Faux Pas is now really bad.

Well would you rather have 2 counters that can counter that or a counter and a Forced Inheritance/Plentiful Crap/any other regular income booster?
