Dear Devs Can we get a glimpse of how the auction house you're building will work? Is it on a player-by-player basis, where if I'm looking for, say, a Political Patronage, I'd search for who has a PP for sale, and go and place a bid? I'm assuming it's a bidding system cos it's an "auction house". Can you trade/buy/sell without bidding? (like the "buy now" on ebay) Are the bids timed? Will there be a guideline of an average of sale prices for a card? Are there card for card trade facilities? Just wanna know how it's proposed to protect the interest of noobs and veterans alike. Lots of kids in MTG got shafted out of their Moxens, and that would be very discouraging to find out afterwards.

Hello,
I think it would probably easier to let you discover the AH for yourself (especially as I haven't been able to test it just yet, I'm not a 100% sure of all the features now).
But here is a little preview : - Yes, you will definitely be able to "buy now" and even to "sell now". - It won't be based on bids but more on offers (the initial design name was actually "Market Place") - We are still working on a trading feature but Gamecenter is not really friendly for that... So I can't answer just yet.

Hi Marc Thanks for the feedback! It's encouraging to see that it's set up to protect the seller! Even more looking forward to it now

That is great news. I have been waiting so long to get a few rares too complete a couple decks. It will be fun just going through everyone's market to see what is available. I know I have my list of stuff I'm going to try and sell first.

Ah! our producer have put some pressure on us with that announcement Now we have to deliver Note that she said: we are targetting (so please be indulgent if we are a few days late ) But sure, it's a fair estimate and we will do everything we can to respect that date!

Exactly the kind of thing we wanted to see from an official channel, glad to see the page getting the right info love Best of luck to you guys for the delivery date! Of course we won't kill you guys if it's out by a bit (afaik it would be a whole week's wait if it misses a release date, since it's gotta be approved by Apple's gauntlet, right?). What's important is to release the thing in a state of readiness!!

Agreed. I'd much rather wait a little longer than get it earlier and be frustrated because it isn't working properly.

Yes, we depend on Apple. But that doesn't mean it would be one week later if we mis the date. From our past experience, Apple takes about one week to approve the version. That means that if we send the version one day late, it should be approved one day later. The only problem would be if Apple reject our version, or if we discover a critical bug before getting approved by Apple, then we would have to resubmit a new version and wait another week. Anyway, this isn't going to happen We will be on time!
