Pilfer Supplies 3 cost Suprise , regain all your gold
Theres a lot of talk about Political Patronage at them moment and the fact it's useless mid/late game. Pilfer supplies is the opposite, I've not really seen it used that much , I have experimented with it and I think it may have been a bit overlooked. With the change to x cost cards , I'm expecting to see a lot more of it.
What are peoples thoughts on it?

Well to be honest look at it this way - it gains you one day of gold. That means you can do two days worth of things in one day. If it also draws a card then it'll be as good as time walk from magic - take another turn.
But as it is now it's just one day's gold gain, which........ Would work great in decks that desperately need that gold without waiting a day, I guess.
Patronage's advantage could be counted as +3 days on day 1 if without any other boosters. Quite a different story.

Lol, don't get me wrong, I love PP, it's in every media deck I run. The reasoning I was trying to make was, mid/late game, PP is useless, but here's an mid/late game equivalent. Is it worth an auto include? No way, that's not what I'm saying.
Ok to put an extreme example now, I've been testing pilfer in a Lorenzo deck, it allows you to play 2 10/10 Lorenzo's quickly. I dont like Lorenzo, im just trying to see if there is an effective deck with him, pilfer might be the key. With X cost cards also I can potentially see a benefit, 2 RI's fast .

Yeah I understand what you mean, and that's what I meant too, is there a situation where getting 2 days worth of gold in one day will make/break the game? Only when you got 2 X cards and something like 20 gold. Setting that up is a bit of a bitch And then think about it - would you rather: have 2 X cards to play AND a counter/removal/something else and play the 2 cards a day apart (giving the opponent 1 card's space to deal with it) or play the 2 X cards on top of each other giving the opponent one less draw to deal with them? It sounds like a good deal, but only in the right situation that requires setting up

I think in can be useful in a Scholar deck that gives you constant drawing. That point the only limitation on playing cards is income (and resolve time for in-depth study and such).

Pilfer supplies is a critical part of Pan/RI decks.. but not sure how feasible the deck is after the nerfs.
For other decks? Not sure.. I don't think I've seen much use of it outside Pan/RI
