Hi, sorry if this seems like a lame question.
Silvo Barbarigo — what happens if you use something like Wanted Posters or Nimble Thrust on it? I've never tried, but -0/-4 & 1/-1 isn't damage, right? But -4 would neutralize, but sort of indirectly. I know "safe" doesn't mean everything fizzles. (had Change of Plans battle over one)
BTW, I'm using Proboards app on my phone and iPad. Not bad! I can't figure out formatting though. Anyone know? (this is my first forum in maybe 8 years)

Formatting on the app is a pain, you have remember the codes and type it manually... don't bother, I say Silvio is always safe - and -0/-4 does count as damage. Safe prevents any downward adjustment of health AND straight up neutralization so Silvio will survive wanted posters.

So he can only be bounced, countered or stolen then?

Yep, safe doesn't prevent any of that. Check out the agent abilities in the FAQ section for a full rundown of all the abilities including safe there are some surprising properties like comboing with tactical upheaval

What about For The Cause?

If the card doesn't say neutralize or -0/-whatever, it will work on Silvio.

Thanks. Does -2/-0 count as damage, too?

So he can only be bounced, countered or stolen then? He can also be erased with the new Animus Reboot and Under Arrest. Safe only protects against neutralization, i.e. putting it in the archive. Erase removes it from the game and safe doesn't protect against that. Sudden Exhaustion leaves his attack at 0, but he can still annoy you with his blocks.

Last week sometime, I saw someone play a Pallazo Senatorio, then a Silvio, then an Animus Reboot... I couldn't stop myself laughing

^^ I made that mistake also, yesterday. Playing Silvio before Animus Reboot, thinking he would survive! Ah well, guess I learned the hard way :-)

Sometimes I forgot to block with an agent that will bounce before damage, or someone targets it for death at the last moment. I liked vicious sneak attack on silvo though in a pinch. I don't use it now though.

Biggest problem I have with Silvio is keeping myself from playing Tactical Upheaval on him after I have played Sudden Exhaustion.
