What's the consensus with cards like forced charity? I sometimes have a 55 card deck as I see these as a card for a card and just include them for the income boost, is this a mistake? Think of it as opportunity cost. Forced Charity is an "empty" card, in that, it gives you money but does absolutely nothing. Same with Plentiful Crop. They give you money, but, they COST you a whole card out your hand. Now look at Knowledge is Power. That card is a +1 money, but, also gives you a replacement card. So when you get Knowledge, you are really getting +1 and replacing it with another card from your deck. So a deck that has 50 cards, 5 Knowledge is Power, is as focused as a deck that has 45 cards. Throw in 5 other draw cards, even something like Tactical Upheaval, and you're focusing the deck even further, while also gaining money. With cards like Forced Charity you are diluting a deck and making it less effective by sacrificing a spot in your hand for a couple of lousy bucks. Nitpicking here but to avoid any confusion , Forced Charity DOES draw a memory, putting it in the same bracket as K is P and Tactical Upheavel. I dis read discussion before about the merits of each and K is P is considered not to be worth it as its kind of a slow way to boost income.

Hey jefmajor, I just beat your deck with over 100 cards, although it was pretty close, not sure how you got so lucky with the cards that were appearing!!!

I don't have a deck with over 100 cards ... Hell, all my decks have exactly 50. Though we did play. I was playing my Solid Gold colorless deck for a laugh. Was a fun match though.

Mine is actually much different, but, extremely successful. I played it ten times this morning and won 9 of them pretty handily. It's a ton of fun so if any of you want to try it out I highly recommend it: 4 Plentiful Crap 4 Merchant Ship 4 Tactical Upheaval 4 Sudden Exhaustion 4 Honest Worker 2 Pilfer Supplies 4 Family Heirloom 4 Venezia, San Polo District 4 Acclaimed Clothier 4 Emilio Barbarigo 4 San Gimignano (key) 2 History Glitch 4 Lair of Romulus 2 Animus Reboot Basically I just manage their Agents and Sites while building enough cash to drop 2 Gimignano's, or, Lair's at once. The threat comes from Gimi and Lair. The idea is to get multiples of them in your hand and play them early. If you start with Gimi's and Lair's then Heirloom a Plentiful Crop, or, vice versa. Come to think of it, I'm not quite sure why it wins so much, but it does. One time I won with this deck was great. I played a bunch of cards and he eventually dropped a Sacred Vision. About 10 seconds after the card played resolved ... he quit. I imagine he was laughing too hard to continue playing

Eh, it's really a just for fun joke deck. Just happens to win frequently.

The easiest way to crash my iPad 1 is to play with a deck bigger than 50 cards. I think I had to do the 200 cards challenge 5 times because it continued to crash the app. So 50 it is for me!
