what is the best red/purple deck

i don have all the cards but a decent amount and my 3 current decks r all above 90 cards and i know thats way o much , but when i go to cut cards all of them r good and im strugglin

Make a list of your best 20 agent cards, your best 10 site cards and your best 20 action cards. Include draw cards that help you pull cards from your deck. See how that deck runs for you.

If you think all your cards are good, you need to shift your thinking - some cards are good in some situations, and some cards are good with other cards. Not all cards are good all the time.

So you should find focus. How are you going to win? Is it with agents or sites? If with agents, big expensive but powerful agents, or small, fast agents? If big agents then you need income boosters more than if you want to win with small agents. If you're using lots of agents you probably don't want a lot of wipe cards - like wrath of the righteous or lassitude or Fabio orsini - they'll just kill your own.

Etc etc. there are no hard and fast rules to build a deck, except to keep it down to at least close to 50. Do you really want to draw any of your 90 cards all the time? Are you even able to play all of them all the time?

Another good thing to look at is cost. You want to be able to play your cards steadily. So in general, you should have about 15 0 or 1 cost cards so that you can start playing and boosting income soonest. Then depending on your mix you should brave about 20 under 4 cost. The rest do whatever you want.

before i read this i got all my decks down to 75 cards but using these tips is should be able to get each down to 60 thanks again

This is a very effective Red/Purple combo, if you have the cards
the main strength is built upon 2 cards
5X Clothes make the man
5X Papal Influence

This means that if you have 1 PI and 3 CMTM, all you need is 13 gold to score 20 points on the board, so in many case win the game.

For the rest of the deck, I go with

2 Zealous Banker
2 Divine Intervention
5 Main Piazza
5 Temple Ruins
2 Honest Workers
3 Coastal Watchtowers
4 Magnetic personality
3 Frederico Auditore
2 Ancestral Discovery

5 Tactical Upheaval

Using MP and TU together with the Zealous banker is my favorite.
