So I will share my latest two decks with you guys, which I've been improving and playing the last couple of days, with great success. After these posts they will probably not be working as good anymore, but I'm already busy with a new idea, so I won't be playing them myself anymore anyway (... or will I? ) The first one is called Speedo Pietro. I just got my fifth Pietro 2 days ago, so I could finally build this deck, I had in mind a while now. After the last tweaks, I have lost only 3 times with this deck (played 25 games with it or so). 5x Pietro Rossi 5x Master Architect 5x Field Study 5x Political Patronage 5x Secluded Village 5x Merchant Ship 5x City Stables 5x Main Piazza 5x Great Library 2x Bitter Sweet 3x Scientific Espionage Once you start up the engine it becomes unstoppable. It's all about timing... Play a Master Architect, play 3 sites (then maybe a Field Study) and play Pietro, and repeat! Some tips for this deck: - A good opening hand has at least 1x PP and 1 or 2 sites and a Master Architect in it. You don't need Pietro in the beginning, it's better to have site cards and drawing cards in your opening hand.
- Don't be afraid to block with your agents to stall weenie agents... Just do it at the right time!

- Use Bitter Sweet on Big Opponent Agents or Pietro (if nescessary). I replaced 3 of them by Scientific Espionage, because I encountered 1 time an AR. I'm not sure if this is the best replacement, but I used it already to counter a RI as well, which won me the game.
Enjoy!

The engeneers are pretty nice, since many ddekcs rely only on sudden exhaustion

Yes, people often don't deal with them, because they are not really a threat to them. But they are the engine of this deck. once you put down 2 of them it's really unstoppable, because all sites are dead cheap to play, so I can keep drawing... most games I ended up winning with about 10 to 15 cards in my hand.

^^ Man, you watch too much tv! Go play some ACR instead Yes, I know he is an easy target, but if he sits through his first round of drawing cards, he's already worth it, imo. And like I wrote in my opening post. It's all about timing: Play all cards right after each other. 1x ME, 3x Site and 1x Pietro (if possible)... People always try to get rid of Pietro first. It's really funny to see how people react to this deck! btw, I will for sure not play you, with this deck now anymore

It's certainly an interesting combo though! Getting enough gold to drop ME + 3 cheap sites, Pietro, repeat... Sounds good on paper, but how many times have you managed to Pietro successfully to score at least 6 (2 regions) in a game? It's a big combo, and therefore seems fragile and less reliable... Lemme try it myself and see

... yeah, if you have the cards, try it and see for yourself.
It's a big combo, but because of the continues card drawing, it is easier to pull of. Try to aim for the opening hand I mentioned before. Play the PP and then the ME. Only after that play your sites, asap. Don't wait till the end of the day. Just keep on drawing (if possible, of course), until you get a Pietro. Only play Sites again after you've played Pietro... Rinse and repeat.
I've had multiple times a Pietro resolving, played another 3 sites and immediately another Pietro resolving next to the first one...
Have fun!

I think I played you recently I must say your timing was excellent! Even removing the architect from play when my sites were resolving and playing him again for your own sites.
Also love it that you found some use for Pietro. Kuddos!
Sadly I won't be playing this deck as I don't have enough architects or Pietro's...

Rob (Roebidoebi)Thanks, I remember our game. That was fun. You also played a site deck, which made me puzzle even harder to get the most out of my cards, without giving you the same advantages I believe I only barely won that one! GG
