Hi Unofficial Forum! Finally made my way here and got registered Seeing as noone feels like using the Facebook forum, I would like to propose that we mash the Facebook page up with these forums, so that the FB page becomes the face ('scuse the pun) of this community. I really really want to get people to see Recollection in an easy way, and I think facebook is definitely a great way to get people's awareness! (I'm an online marketing strategist by day so I can toss you numbers and stats but that's really besides the point right now) Whoever wants to mod the facebook page please let me know, and I'll change the forums there to be a portal into these, should people feel like discussing in-depth. Visibility of facebook and privacy of these forums, good good?

No worries, what I'm proposing is pretty straightforward - or at least it's meant to make it straightforward for other people! My job makes me think in marketing and exposure and blah so please bear with me! Basically right now the Facebook page has a forum, and I'm "advertising" it as a forum unto itself. So now let's make the Facebook page the facebook page FOR this community. So what the facebook page would do mainly is: 1) For people to follow and get the most important news/updates 2) Have in its forum some basic information for noobs to check out 3) Link back to the forum for in-depth discussions The discussions will still take place mainly in the forum/site while the Facebook page is just our AC:Recollection Club's Facebook page. Can we start by adopting the same name - it makes it easier for people to associate. Can I propose we call the community: The Unofficial AC: Recollection Club A club sounds more like a community than just a forum, and we (the players) are certainly more than just a forum! What do you say?

As you've mentioned on touch forum, sometimes people are a little apprehensive sharing their real-life FB acc with 'gaming' life.
Well, I have both. But I hardly check my 'gaming' acc on FB.
But your idea is good.
