Just a concept to try and figure out a way to make some of my lesser used cards, like Firenze, San Giovanni District, fun and useful. Here's what I came up with:
Disobedience. Take the opponents deck and flip it's allegiance in order to use that against them.
Gold (5)
Firenze, San Giovanni District
Media (5 of each)
Political Patronage
Mass Movement
Raving Drunkard
Francesco Vecellio
High Stakes Negotiations
Scholar (5 of each)
Knowledge is Power
Slow Study
Bitter Sweet
Malfatto
This is a very low threat concept deck. I understand that. It is the purest form of the concept, though, so I'm posting it here before I refine it.
The idea is to get a Firenze, San Giovanni District down ASAP (PP).
That card has a re-useable Surprise effect allowing you to switch target Agent or Site from Assassin to Templar or vice versa.
Most of the other cards in the deck are specific to either Templar or Assassin memories. Mass Movement neutralizes any templar site or agent, high stakes negotiation does the same to any assassin site or agent.
Francesco and the Raving Drunkard are the biggest threats: Drunkard destroys target assassin site, Francesco destroys target Templar agent.
When the opponent plays a card, flip its alliegence to that which suits your purposes, and then deploy a card to kill it and advance your position.
Malfatto and Bittersweet make Francesco and Drunkard re-useable, and slow study is great for getting your timing right to destroy a site or protect your own.
What I don't like is that it is essentially a very strange low threat counter deck. I'm going to try and refine it, but, for the purposes of sharing the core concept, here is it at it's simplest thus far.
