I'm thinking about how should be the "real" price of an average card of each rarity. I think I have seen something like that in the forum, but I did not find now so, here is my maths, please help me to correct if there is some mistakes: A booster has 8C 3U 1R so, rares are effectivelly 8x more hard to get than commons and uncommons are 3 times more easy to get than rares. Using a "common exchange", a booster should have: Commons: 1 x 8C = 8 Uncommons: 1U = 8/3C -> 8/3 x 3U = 8 Rares: 1R = 8C -> 8 x 1R = 8 Booster: 8 + 8 + 8 = 24 cp ("common points") Here is the calcs for each "average" card price per rarity: Templar: Common: 1/24 x 100 = 4,17 Animus Credits Uncommon: (8/3)/24 x 100 = 11,12 Animus Credits Rare: 8/24 x 100 = 33,34 Animus Credits Assassin: Common: 1/24 x 900 = 37,50 Animus Credits Uncommon: (8/3)/24 x 900 = 100 Animus Credits Rare: 8/24 x 900 = 300 Animus Credits Now, the speculations. How would be de "deviation" of each rarity? For example: a crap rare Templar, shoud cost how much? 1/2, 1/5 or 1/10 of the "average price"? And a powerful uncommon Assassin? 2x, 4x, 8x, 15x? Show me your theories!

I think it will evolve naturally and some people will be happy with purchases an some will be pissed. But if they all read this first , then I can see it contributing to a stable economy sooner, especially with all the number wizards on here

I don't even want to mess with economic predictions.

Yeah. If only stock prices and valuations were actually in line, there wouldn't really be any speculators or profit making I really wonder if the market will be more stock market like or eBay like

Okay, I speculate, for no particular reason and with no self interest whatsoever* that Political Patronage should be valued at about 100 credits.
Lanz on the other hand 5000-6000 credits.
There. Set your prices.
*the truth of this statement may vary, based on the fact I have 0 Political Patronage and about 8 Lanz

That's the point in fact. Offer and demand will set up the market prices.
I think a good rare is worth 2 or 3 times the booster price. And a bad one will just lose value until being at 1 credit after few weeks.
Also I'm already sure I will put all my unco at 1 credits starting price. I want to help players finishing their collections, not making profit.

If deck consist with card, that is "must have" ( means you will lose a lot if you don't have it), that card may be cost up to 5-10 times booster price. The good rare is 2- 3 times booster price as usual, like Brontobef sad. I trade a lot in over CCG-online game (berserk-online). The ACR i think don't have such "must have" cards. Altough some cards may pretend on it. I think preemptive stike is 'must have'. and it is sadly for me beacouse i have only one of it.

@the Rancord already decided for how many credits you will sell them?
i think templar cards will be all cheap, because with so many credits per day i think there are a lot of them. with good assassin rares it will be very different, prices should be quite high. but personally i am looking for buying f court orders, have already dozens of most templar rares, but only two copies of that uncommon and that sucks. hope people will sell commons too. for example i have four leonardos but only one common gold booster.

might be a good idea to open a marketplace thread or sub-forum for members to list their cards for sale. i can't wait to get rid of all these ezio assassins i have

I wonder how you will select the cards you want to auction. Would be nice to have a feature that automatically selects all cards that you have more than 5 copies of.

Well I will post a want/have list tonight, when I can check. I have alot of chase rares, but still didnt get a carneval (only card i have 0 copies) Uncommons and commons are in insane amount at my site, so if you missing assassin uncommons (Still quit hard to get multiple copies from booster) you can be sure Im gladly selling them all. Well the thing is If I sell a pre emptive Strike, I want to buy another good Rare I dont have 5 copies from. So ill sell it for the price I can get an Ezio, or Divine Intervention for example.

In another thread we discussed card values as well. I think there are 3 ways to look at it: 1) Your way: as long as you don't care what you get (i.e. just buy a booster) 2) You want a rare and don't care anymore about commons and uncommons: 100$ for a Templar rare and 900$ for an Assassin rare. 3) You want a specific popular rare (1/42 chance of getting it in a booster): 4200$ for a Templar rare and 37800$ for an Assassin one.
I will not buy any cards at 3) or higher. I'll just take my chances by buying boosters and sell everything I don't need.
Finally, with the stand-alone mode and 500 free credits a day you can get a lot for free (especially Templar cards). This may influence the actual values as well.

I think we will need a separate thread/sub-forum to discuss trading options. Tuism?
