This deck was born out of the need to find a deck for Ezio gold, especially after the balance changes. It started off as something completely different and evolved, via discard, into its current state.
I don't often play it as its very noob unfriendly ( day one doomsday ) as a result it may need adapting to cope with the current meta.
Agents
5 x Ezio ( gold )
4 x Nico Machiavelli
5 x Caterina Sforza
4 x Francesco Vecellio
4 x Benevolant Midwife
Sites
4 x Village Chapel
3 x Venezia San Polo
Actions
5 x Political Patronage
3 x Role Reversal
5 x Divine Intervention
3 x Ancestral Discovery
3 x Holy Calling
3 x Doomsday
The premise is simple , Ezio is your main man , get him on the table as soon as you can. I think all the other memories are obvious except for a few.
Francesco Vecellio, I tried him in the deck and it felt right so I kept it. He's 4 cost and a +1 income boost. The majority of opponents are going to put Templar Agents down. ( Cesare, Lanz etc ) Ive hardly seen him used before, I think I may try out his counterpart Raving Drunkard in the future.
Benevolant Midwife. Shes great, 0 cost. Things to note, when you choose your two memories number 2 will come before number 1 , not sure if that's intended or a mistake.
A common mistake I made with her, if you select your memories and then use another action that randomises your sequence again , you cancel out her effect, ie don't play 2 benevolent within 2 days of each other, ( unless you need to change your choice )
Caterina Sforza , I love her , low cost , distracts your opponent , do they use a counter on her or save it for what ever comes next? If they leave her she's going to kill their fattie, a dilemma.
Village Chapel and Venezia San Polo , income and anti site respectively.
Holy Calling , your answer to untimely end etc.
