Hey, Here is a funny concept. Very funny in fact, as winning with it makes me laugh each time. The fun part is that you let your opp plays his deck most of the games, only to steal his victory in the end. The list is far from being the best one, but the concept cards are all here. 5 Plentiful Crop 5 Paola 5 Forced Charity 4 Fiora Cavazza 1 Tactical Upheaval 1 Sudden Exhaust 2 Venezia, San Paolo District 5 Familly Heirloom 5 Papal Influence 4 Ancestral Discovery 4 Change of Plans 4 Secret Catacombs 5 False Hopes Playbook: Let your opponent play ang build up some score in his regions the way he wants. Then, False Hope it and trick the region to let you win. Paola can drop him from 10 to 8 (win), Papal Influence can let you gain from 5+ to 10 (or remove his score), Venezia/Catacombs played at the end of the day will destroy his site and let you take the decisive point, A Change of Plans can work fine too. It's all good. Hope you'll enjoy it!

Cool deck! I've tried to build several decks with false hope, mostly I tried to pair it with scorers like official agents, papal, RI, sites, etc. but they never worked out. I guess a more control version would work better! Well done will work more on it too

If I wanted to make it more competitive, I'd add a lot of discard in it, removing a lot of the defenses. Not sure it can ever be competitive, but the concept is really evil.

Nice concept indeed. Looks like fun to play. Will try something similar.

great concept! looks fun, and it's definitely the deck to use when everyone meet Jefmajor in a match, he hates it. ;D

I have tried this concept. I don't know why but playing it is boring like hell. I think it's just not my type of a deck. Usually I like long duels with an unclear outcome but not in this case... I'm very uncomfortable with it. Actually I have won 3 games in a row, but eventually was not satisfied with it.
It's great and unusual concept anyway! Respect to Bronto!

Btw the false hopes were allways useless for me. I usually win with a stolen agent and double papal

Rancord, it's your mistake! (sarcasm detected) You have to wait opponent beat you in one region at the same time protecting other two with Paolas and so on. Only when you've cast False hopes + Paola (or Venezia) to control this region you're allowed to use COPs and Papas Not earlier! BTW I've played with an idea of combo Pantheon + False hopes but it turned out that they are totally incompatible. If you put Pantheon before False hopes then you loose immediately And also when Pantheon put after False hopes - your score is nullified and again you have lost Really funny thing!

If i wait for that, my enemy will counter it

Haha beat 3 coutner/Draw in a row with it I would have thought counter would do really well against this deck. It looks like a great matchup for my counter/discard deck; looks like a really long game for my counter/draw (which I only have played enough to make sure it runs). Interesting that you beat several counter decks in a row - most do very little to score until their hand is established.

Well lucky topdecking. If I draw all my change of plans and he has not a counter for every single one.
Of course normally I should loose badly
