**edit, disclaimer** I did not mean to insult anyone with this thread! I am not trying to call you names or make fun of you or publicly ridicule you! I look forward to playing all of you again and urge to use any and every tactic possible to beat me, because, I know I will do the same for you! I am making this list available to people knowing full well that I'll be ridiculed. Hit me with your best shot. This is for people who are looking to have fun with the game not score wins off withdrawals. This is the list of people who play decks that have very low threat designed to counter or discard every card you have and force you to quit out of boredom. Some of them have VERY late cards played around turn 30 or 40 like DI but I imagine I only saw that card because I was one of the few who stuck around. They may not care, though, because I imagine they usually don't win by scoring. I give this list because, when I see these names in my list of matchups, I choose a deck that is also pure counter or pure discard, and I advise you to do similarly. I don't want to use these decks against people who do not deserve them. They are using a certain type of deck which allows them to profit off withdraws. Either pack a deck with a SERIOUS rush or load up with your own counter discard against them. Current list which I will continue to update: Hubristic gamemaestro mana lefthighkick =paga777= Just_Mo Auditore (Female name listed in top 50) Gadet [JGarline] kyle ess KillingSoftly yugotha Electrolocute metakana dankun Arathel81 Cubicarts dicesh00ter Bungwa What is the reward for playing these decks against these people? Sweet irony and schadenfreude. Enjoy!

One of the reasons I enjoy this game so much is that, right from the start, you can meet so many different game play strategies. I loved Pan/RI back when it was powerful, not because I played it (no assassin cards for me), but because I had to deal with it. So I want variety of strategies, even this one, to face. One of my favorite memories was playing a 99 cent deck vs a counter draw deck... (that was back when Dante could push agents past Animus Reboot. My deck would probably lose today ) If the style is so powerful it can't be stopped, then, yes there is a problem and the devs could looks at the cards, but if it can be managed, then I don't agree there is a problem.

Is this really so much of a problem? I haven't really had too much trouble with decks that last forever. I don't like that strategy either (hate history glitch so much ), but I don't see why so much hate, they're free to play that strategy, and it's entirely possible to beat them consistently if you see what's coming

No, it isn't so much of a problem for MOST people, because most people use decks that have threat.
This is a problem with people that have decks with little to no win condition other than making people withdrawal.
I don't have people on here that just use counter cards. That's fine! Go for it! I do too! I use them to protect my win condition which is usually based on a card in the game, not on the concept of garnering EXP & Bonus off a meta game.
This is entirely different.
I am also not indicating that this is an unbeatable strategy.
Far from it; it is very weak to even the most basic templar rush decks.
I am not making this thread because I can't beat them. I know that is what most people will think. I do fine against them.
I am making this thread because the concept of them makes me sick.

You can put me on the list as well. I occasionally play it just because I can, and want to try everything possible.
Nothing is true, everything is permitted!

Uhh I play ~20 threats in my grinder deck and use recursion to draw into even more... but carry on, lol... Use w/e deck you want against me, I'll just smash you like I did last time when you ragequit the game before the 1st day was even over. I wasn't even going to say anything about that, but if you're going to call me out, so be it!

I have ~15 different decks. Some of them have counters, discards, etc. Some don't. I just randomly change deck each game. Should I be in the List? :]

Jef likes to whine about counters, accept it. It's funny that I'm on the list given that I play a WIDE variety of decks. I do know that back when I played discard a ton (before the nerf) I had very few withdrawals. I'm guessing that because Jef withdraws lot he assumes that all do. For the most part, people actually play it out until the bitter end (the exception being mill - very few stick around with no cards in hand and no cards in their sequence). Let him whine and let him be exactly what he claims to hate so much - someone who plays low threat decks. It's a free world.
For the record, if you're going for quick xp playing counters/history glitch etc is obviously not the way to do it. People rarely withdraw and the games take a lot longer. I don't know about the rest of the board, but I tend to play a super fast rush deck when just looking for xp (to get my 500 credits).

The devs gave us Forgotten Temple, so clearly griefing the opponent is a valid strategy. The game is only in trouble if it is a dominant strategy.
