I am grinding towards top 25. Yes, lame goal. What determines the win Exp? 0, 20, 100. I would want to get 100 exp as often as I can. Change decks? (does not seem to work) What are the factors?

From what I've seen. - winning without playing gives you 20. - winning too much times against someone gives you 20. - losing gives you 20. - winning in all other conditions gives you 100. - the exp limit is bugged (i didn't play during 10 days, and i got the message after like 5 or 6 games... ). I see no other explanation for its chaotic behaviour.

- winning without playing gives you 20. (sometimes I get 0!) - winning too much times against someone gives you 20. (Sometimes I get 0!) - losing gives you 20. (Sometimes I get 0!) - winning in all other conditions gives you 100. (hmmm.....) (That gives me incentive to change decks/both deck colors - if Tuism is right: changing my decks might match me with a larger pool of players) - the exp limit is bugged (i didn't play during 10 days, and i got the message after like 5 or 6 games... ). I see no other explanation for its chaotic behaviour.- if anyone sees the 'max exp earned for the day', ignore it. it's not true.

Maybe I was wrong about the second point. I just beat Sofia Auditore 4 times in 5 games (played against X between games against her) and I got 100 each time. So I don't know... Maybe the level of the players enter in the equation too.

You are right.
I have faced over danimaldanno for like 20+ times and sometimes I get 100, sometimes I get 20.

I think the rewards have something to do with how often you play in a single day. The first few times you play you get full rewards: 100 for winning /20 for losing. After that the rewards vary.

So far, it's whacky.

Someone hacked his way into top 25.
"Crash - roboot - reset" or something like that. his IGN.
My point: no need to be overtly concerned about Gamecenter ratings.
I believe there are other hackers too. I play vs a lot of the top 25, top 10 and some of their decks are crap.

I don't think anyone necessarily hacked anything... I think just because someone has top rankings with crap decks doesn't mean anything but that... Remember I think it was mentioned somewhere that the leader board was pretty much nonsensical and was based on how much you play rather than how much you win.
So... Kudos to him for his passion!

You can change your Game Center ID pretty easily. They might not have hacked their way if they just changed their name.
It is dependent on how much you play (it helps to win though).
I do have a theory that some of the top players are actually beta testers with complete card sets. This is completely unsubstantiated.

My own personal goal is to maintain a top 50 spot which in my eyes is pretty good for the amount I play, (I usually hover around the mid 40's mark). I only get the chance to play 2 or 3 games before going to bed and maybe enough games during the weekend to hit the 100 free credits twice before being hounded by the wife. Despite seeing a lot of deck ideas and comments regarding their effectiveness, I have yet to copy one and am still messing with my own decks. I'm having a great time trying different cards out and am thoroughly enjoying the game. I'm very happy with my current position.

I am probably wrong about the guy. Sorry! The ratings system is flawed as Tusim points out. SE system is also flawed btw. The current AC system rewards players whether they lose or win, the reward favor those who play as much as they can, BUT winning can get you 100 exp, which makes things hell lot faster.

If a limit of games to play per day would have been implemented with this rating, then only the ones with the best win/loss ratio would climb up in it. Right now, it's just representative of how lame we are. I'd love to take my pole position back, but I think it will never happen... ^^

I'd love to take my pole position back, but I think it will never happen... ^^ Finally decided to register here. ;D When I started the game (it was 2 days after release I think) I was rank 80 or so and you were somewhere above 30000 score. I wanted to play as much as possible to get into Top20. But then I started to buy Packs and I played more often. I played like 3-4 hours per day. And then I was on top. This game is really addicting but now I only play until I reach the 300 credits per day. Only if I see that someone is close to my score, I play a bit more to stay on top. So nothing is impossible. From Zero to Hero haha. But they should make a better system like in SE at least. playing against lower ranks grants you less points and loosing a match means loosing points. The better your opponent is, the more points you can win and the less points you will loose.

Hey Endemic! Welcome! Love your work, I wish I had a Jailbroken iPad I think a proper leaderboard will come hopefully anyway. How long has the game been around anyway? I first didn't trust the game... Thought it would just be a lame money-sink. Well it turned out to be one, but I enjoyed the game so I continued and now look where it got me But I also play until the 300 gold a day mark, and don't really care about the leaderboard.
