Here's a great hangout for our forum members. We already have upwards of 10 regular hangouts. Here's how to get into our chatroom: 1) Use Gtalk. You can use it through your gmail or use IMO or other iPad gtalk clients. 2) Add acRecollection@im.partych.at[/b] as a contact to your gtalk. 3) Change your nickname - use /alias yournickname 4) When you're free to play an invite game, go on to the channel and just holler to see if anyone else is on. 5) To not be annoyed by chats when you're busy doing other things: Use /leave to leave chat and not be bothered by anymore chats in that channel until you log in again. 6) To log in again, just send any message to the contact. Easy! On your iPadNote that you can't switch apps in a Recollection game to chat - the notifications might come and you can switch apps, but the game connection will most likely get broken, so don't do it! Commands: - /alias newalias Change what name you show up as in the room.
- /leave Leave this chat room. You can rejoin by sending another message to the room. If the room is invite-only, you may need to be re-invited.
- You can get a list of commands by typing /help in it, and
- /list See who is in the chat room.
- /invite someemail Invite someone to the room.
- /me someaction Tell the room what you're up to. If you type
- /me is rolling his eyes, everyone sees [youralias] is rolling his eyes.

Having the wierdest issue. Google talk (which I have just downloaded for the first time) keeps telling my password is incorrect (I use gmail as my email). I even logged out of my gmail and back in, to check my account is not hacked and password changed. I don't feel like creating a seperate google account just for this (means I will be logged out of my primary email every time I use the chat). Am I missing something obvious?

Ok, if you are a 2 step verfication user, you have to set up an application specific password for Gtalk (which is just wierd, because I am using my pc...)

I downloaded IMO but I can't see how to add the link to the channel, please help, my brain hurts. go to imo and click add contact - then type the whole name in - it's assassin's creed recollection with full stops instead of any spaces and the apostrophe, at partychapp.appspotchat.com it's a long url yeah... maybe I should get a shorter one. But the @partychapp.appspotchat.com can't be changed, it's the thing the group chat is run with.
