Ubisoft say there are no troubles with that memory, that they've been testing it succesfully... They suggest to contact Apple to get a compensation Where did you hear this? Link us? I don't think anyone on the dev team that we've been speaking with would tell us to go ask apple for compensation for a bug that has nothing to do with iTunes.

Looks like an unexperienced customer support agent talking about something he didn't understood. "I bought Ancestral Discoveries in the market and it's bugged" "Thank you for your report %name, but I know for sure that all our products are tested before they are placed in itunes. If you want to request a reimbursement, please contact Apple CS directly. I will escalate your issue anyway to our devs for further verifications. Have a nice day." Am I wrong?

Lol both sides didn't know what they're talking about no way Ubisoft client service would know what "buying an ancestral discovery in the market" means the full story would hurt their brain anyway. This is not something for "customer support" to handle, we have a more direct conversation here with the devs.

"I bought Ancestral Discoveries in the market and it's bugged" That looks like a big fat troll to me

So there is more chance for the developpers to have feedbacks about bugs and so from here than from ubisoft's customer service then ?
Because some of you where in touch with them already before, (like through 'Magic the Gathering' Championchips) ? Or because they are genuinely interested in the concept of this site ?... or both ?

I dunno why theyre here, but the fact is they are. Browse our forums a bit and you can see that they have replied numerously and continuously. And they've asked our opinions for stuff too, during balancing. As devs, having a direct line to "mass testers" is important to them, I guess. Customer service - think about what they do, they are people who work taking questions from consumers. Ubisoft has a million games. It is completely unreasonable to expect them to know what an "ancestral discovery is, bought from the market". If they had to find out about that info, they would have to call Ubi Montreal, ask for assassins creed rep, who's busy on something else, who doesn't play the game, who has to ask the devs, etc etc, and that query would take days if not weeks to be responded to, nevermind getting a satisfactory answer. This is reality. We are lucky to be able to get dev input directly

But but but - I want the $0.00 I spent on this great game back!
I found this thread hilarious. Nice guess at what happened Bronto.
Obdy - we are lucky to have devs that listen to the community. It's rare generally but they truly care about making the game the best they can and find real value in talking with the people who play it a ton and can give intelligent feedback. It bodes well for the future of the game.
