That's rough but damn...they've got to be playing an interesting deck to pull that off. Funny though.

LOL I see, draw your whole sequence, play temple, trade, win. Dude those must be epic long games if you manage to survive

Yeah, I think you pulled this one on me as well. I was wondering the whole time why you kept drawing and not playing any of your winners and only used enough cards to counter my deck. I do remember it being a long game and when I finally realized what you were doing, I was out of there.

As much as I love the synergy in this deck, I'm gonna say I would hate to play against it lololol

HAHAHA Wow I'm not the only one who had this concept in mind.
My concept involved a reverse deck destruction where I deck out my entire sequence, switch with temple, Then Drop Novella Catacombs and win by Deck Out.

Wow that's twisted, you guys have too much time (both in making the deck and playing it )

Well when I played Yugioh, I had a similar deck before the key card got banned. It revolved me getting my deck to the graveyard as fast as possible to meet the conditions required to use a card called Exchange of the Spirit where both players have to switch their decks with their graveyards. It would usually result in a deck out after a couple of turns because his discarded cards are now his deck and I can clear any resistance or just flat out stall until he can no longer draw. And for those who don't know, in most card games, if you can no longer draw a card from your deck you lose.

I was bored and wanted to keep the game interesting instead of just grinding every day, waiting for the bug fixes, and expansion pack. I wanted to take a card that the general consensus was that’s pretty useless and have some fun by seeing if I could build an effective deck around it. It does some have weaknesses and is extremely slow, but it is surprising how many times you can stay alive long enough to pull it off with all the wipes and counters. Trying to stay a live is half the fun with that deck. That being said you’d have to be close to psychotic to try and play with it and I would probably be ticked off myself playing against it. This deck also has some interesting quirks against normal game convention. Drawing income boosts late is fine because I can feed Daring Experiment with it. Playing against a mill deck makes this deck work faster unless they are playing with Order. It also gives you a reason to put 5 copies of the Temple in the deck in case some get countered. ABXantos my first crack at this deck I actually did use Novella Catacombs. However as much as it pained me to do it, I had to use Order and counters or else against any decent deck you couldn’t stay around long enough to pull it off. I am not sure I could properly comment on how I truly feel about counters without being banned from this site. If you have already switched decks, your opponent really can’t win anyway. @coolkenude I ran into you a lot on Saturday. You were one of the few people I came across with good decks that showed me how I had to tweak it.

Yea that is true, once you give them a 0 deck there is nothing they can really do anyway even with all the cards in their hand.
And thats why I also liked this deck concept because if you face a discard deck, it leads to their own destruction so much faster.
And yea, I also agree that Novella made the deck a bit hard to build and playing. Going Faith/Scholar gives you Good Draw power but no counters, Going Faith/Order gives you counters but no draw power. Hopefully new cards in the next expansion can make the Catacombs + Temple combo a huge effective troll deck.
