I'm actually incredibly impressed by the way this game's been built - there's not been a single new card injected or bug fixes yet, yet the meta-game's been shifting SO much with the "discovery" of previously written-off cards and strategies... Written off by experienced CCG players (at least experienced in other games). There's been so many "decks to beat" since the game started as everyone flocked to them and to build anti-them... We only really are a bit ahead of the curve cos we got each other to talk to - I can just imagine the players who are not part of any community - they must be facing such an array of stuff that it's hard to contextualise. First everyone ran Order/Scholar rush... Cos that was all we had Then Noble Rush Then Order Cesare/Counter Then Pan/RI Then thief decks Then Discard Then less resource boost, more control Then Media Propaganda Rush Then more resource boost, less long games Then now Media surprise cards rule supreme (with Cesare's help) I definitely have missed a few in between, but you get the point. This game is still being discovered as people find out how to optimally combine cards... I suspect there is no such thing as the perfect deck, not even close... I'm looking forward to the future of AC:R Hard to keep up, but it's not because (for now) of having to spend X amount of X boxes of boosters when new expansion is released. Come oh ye Auction house!

Overall there is not so much Shifting. Various versions of using Blue Counter and Cesare. Just the 2nd color andd the other cards around that change around

OK sure Order counters remain strong but that's a general card game thing... If you want a solution to everything... Counter it. It was the same with magic. But how it's played hasn't stayed static at all

Also consider, that it depends on the cards the guys have. No Auction house means some ppl just cant build certain decks. I never met certain decks consistently, allthought I meet nearly allways blue. Maybee if you see a new list in forum and u go online and you meet a deck like this 1-2 times, its allready the new meta?

Well considering the game's only a month or two old - that's significant And I don't know about you I've met every single one of the decks I've listed consistently for a day or two - again, in a young game, I think that's significant. Sure later we'll see longer shifts MUCH later

Well, right now, in the Schizo deck, you have absolutely nothing to counter. Nothing but the By Order of The King. So I'm not sure counters will stqy top of the pop for long if the tend stays like this. I'm not playing Order in my two "very competitive" decks fyi.

I got beat twice playing the Schizo deck.
Roma, end of story. Having a bunch of Cesare who cannot campaign is useless.
I countered 1 Roma, but it's still won.
Need to try more. but the defeat was hard to take.

Can you describe what happened in your games?

I have 5 court orders and 5 Pre-emptive strikes in the deck. Probably just bad luck not to draw them.
In 1 game, I gained a 5 then the Roma hit. Wasted a Cesare attack on that. Probably just bad luck. Gotta test more.

I'd say bad luck.. I countered Roma when playing Cesare deck then proceed to win. I did expect it after seeing the opponent playing Faith sites so saved my counters for it.
