Need an advice from someone who played the episodes 1 and 2 of the video game on PS3.
I want to play this game. Can I skip the 1 and start directly at the 2? Or will I miss important parts of the story line?

the entire Assassin's Creed story - the REAL story - opens up at the end of game 1. Without that knowledge you'll go into the rest of the franchise CONFUSED. So yeah I'd say please play AC1 first I personally played AC1 and AC2, haven't finished brotherhood yet, but loved the multiplayer. The game - after 2 instalments - is actually one massive huge grind since there's so much to do but it's so repetitive in its muchness. I think I'm gonna go rush the story, see if that's actually fast.

1 is important, unfortunately. In terms of gameplay, the series gets exponentially better starting at 2, but the events in 1 are too important to skip. Weather the storm of the super repetitive first Assassain's Creed and you'll be rewarded after. Haha.
The story is very off-the-wall and intriguing. I especially enjoyed getting to know Ezio Auditore. He's such a badass but so human at the same time.
