I was trying to buy some cards I need so I bid for them, every time I bid, this guy would front runs me, and after a few moment, I noticed he's on highest bid of every buy, and lowest offer on every sale. I understand he's trying to make the difference to make money, but it gets annoying when he front runs you every time when you needed something. Have anyone noticed this guy yet? ID: msyesq

If he's having fun then good on him! Makes the market more interesting for sure. You can't expect the wolves to let the sheep go about their business. If it wasn't him then it would be someone else.

this whole thing wont work long anymore. soon the offered prices and the wanted prices will be nearly the same. and then this whole buy cheap sell high thing wont work out. you got a pretty stable cardvalue then. also even now i dont think it is worth the effort. first day it was awesome now you wont make such a high profit anymore so id consider it timewaste. he cant control the whole market anyway. and if he tries he will find himself sitting on alot of cards not getting rid of em for profitable prices by tomorrow.

Yeah, I'm seeing it a lot more stabilized now. I hope someone who has good knowledge with AC card market can come up with a thread with average reasonable price range for the most popular cards. That'd be very helpful for the newbs ;D

A price list would be great, but it would be SO much effort to maintain. I mean seriously A reasonable thing to do is to see what the gap is between the cheapest sale and the most expensive buy offer, count somewhere in between. Minus the really "out of range" prices that's like 500+ out from the next cheapest/most expensive. That'll generally be about right. Really, doing a list and maintaining one would be like a real job

Manipulating some of the commons too! Now that takes work.

Manipulating commons? Just not at all worth it.

if Im ok with the price i sell him allc ards, and he can sell them more expensive. I usually insta sell to anyone using 75% uf standard price. If none is in i sometimes put them in between 75-100%.
That said I have only uncommons and commons left.

He's not the only one. It's really fun to play around with the market. I find myself playing with that more than playing the actual game.

Some people love playing the market, the same people who will micro their trading in say oblivion or other games with trading to buy low and sell high To them I salute, enjoy it and also if anyone more involved in the market could maybe come up with a weekly market price update I'd be very interested to see it!

I was 10 cards short of full playset on Friday. Put up buy offers for them over the weekend (priced at +10-20% from the highest offer) and managed to get all of them except 2 Ezio Thieves. Ended up paying 1900 and 3000 for those. I didn't really want to pay 3000 cr for the last Ezio but, then again, I decided to pay extra $2 (1000 credits) to avoid going back to market to find that last card. I did put in $5 when Market was released since I barely have credits but the rest were paid by selling my excess cards. The irony is that I'm not even sure if I will play this game as much as I used to again Completionist mentality I guess..
