Hi devs, there's lots of people wondering how the scoring works there. Especially since somehow I went overnight from being 16th (i think) to 2nd. What's weird to me is that I really haven't played that much online and have just finished the new single player challenges x5 (so has many others) I really don't care about the scores, but how does it work now, and are there plans to change it? Is it currently buggy? Thanks guys

I just played 10 matches to receive my daily reward of credits. My XP is rising but my score in the leaderboard still stays the same. So what is this all about? Is there any chance to get the score back? Could be possible that someone plays and another person gets this persons score on the leaderboard. I have no other idea but that.

I've spoken with some of the devs and they reckon it's a bug and are working on it. Preliminarily it's apparently a client bug so that it will require an update to be fixed.
As for how to fix scores and things, we'll wait till the devs have a finalised/formalised solution first before assuming anything.
It would be nice to understand exactly how the scoreboard numbers are arrived at...

It could be a refresh issue if you see your XP grwing in game but not in GameCenter. For sure those XP points are not lost and will get eventually updated on GameCenter too. But as Tuism said, we've found a possible way to increase that XP faster than it should be. We will fix that.

I reply to myself, but due to the XP bug, it's possible that the value put on GameCenter has been increased to fast, while the one we have on our server is correct. Since with game center we cannot lower the value, we can't update it with the proper value until you actually reach that value.

You can reply to yourself any day Thierry Well that's expected from Apple. They're tighter than leg irons most of the time. When/if we have a leaderboard that's based on ELO rankings or some other method, would it have to A) start from scratch and B) be seperate from Gamecenter? Since you can't adjust their values downwards? Not that I mind. I'd rather everyone start at zero so that we get a fair representation of skills/ranking. Eventually.
