Monterigionni... I can't recal the exact circumstances, but Monti was at 0 influence. Anyway, it was in play when actions were resolving normally again (not as surprises). No idea what caused this behavior though... A discarded, countered or neutralised from play Monterigionni seems to still screw up all the actions/surprises

I've been testing Monteriggioni in a controlled game and I find nothing wrong with it. Countering, sending back to the hand. Having multiple copies in play and removing one (or more) doesn't introduce any problems. It's all working as it was supposed to. So can't confirm this even though I tried...
Does anybody still have any problems with Monti?

Tuism: don't change a title if you want to say something too large. ^^

I have confirmed this bug twice. It occurs when you bring Monteriggioni back from the discard pile with Ancestral Discovery. It even makes surprise actions into regular actions but only on your side of the table.

I'm sorry, it may be my english. :] Could you elaborate a little more and give us steps to reproduce this?

I'm sorry, it may be my english. :] Could you elaborate a little more and give us steps to reproduce this? No problem. 1. Cast Monteriggioni 2. Opponent Destroys Monteriggioni 3. Cast Ancestral Discovery and put Monteriggioni back into your hand from the discard pile. 4. Cast Monteriggioni again 5. All of your actions are still normal speed (not affected by Monteriggioni) AND all of your surprises are now at normal speed instead of surprise speed!

Figured that, in light of the new post about it, I would confirm that this is still a problem. I neutralized a monteriggioni a couple of days ago with venezia. My opponent brought it back from the grave, played it again, and it didn't take effect.

Confirmed again, Monterigionni being destroyed makes surprises played later action speed, and therefore counters impossible.

Actually, my counters still worked (which I felt bad about). I don't think my opponent played any, so I can't confirm if his would or would not have worked. For me, it was as if Monteriggioni was not on the board.
