Auxiliary Ego works on a virtual militant summoned from a Call to Action card. Put it in my hand, zero cost, was able to play it. Auxiliary Ego says it doesn't work on virtuals. Had two of them on the board at the same time and the card lit up so I decided to try it. It worked.
