I can confirm this bug.
I played Rodrigo twice. The first time I had 8 of 22 gold when he got countered and after half a day I had only 13 gold (instead of 19). The second time he got countered the speed got halved again. He got countered at 18/42 and after half a day I had only 23 gold (so only 5 added instead of the normal 21).
