I think some people play with such a bad connection that they just get wins from opponents quitting out of frustration...
Not that I have no sympathy for those with poor connections, but how can you consistently and persistently play when the game essentially stutters every half second (to the rhythm of the music)?

Haha.. true. When I see reconnecting message 3x in a row. I quit. Not rage quit.. Just 'oh well' quit I built discard deck yesterday that bores opponent to quit (not death!) haha.. Will post it once I get to my iPad. Not a competitive one but amusing..

I tried to build one, but just can't really crack it I think I rage quit to bad connection more than I rage quit to Pan/RI

Not Forgotten Temple. It's basically Magic Mill deck.. using Buried Cathedral to dump opponent cards to archive then after it's empy, use Novella Catacombs to win. Meanwhile, use Animus Reboots, Wraths and Discards.
When it works, opponent will end up with 0 card in hand and deck. Since I only put 2 Novella, it could take a while before I get to them and the opponent just twiddling their thumbs. It's kinda weak and not easy to play though.. not sure if I can tune it up to par.

I'm a very patient player, I hardly ever quit a game early unless there is some real life reason that gets in the way (like a dying battery... heh). I have started quitting on a second atrociously bad draw, but that is new.

I nearly posted the other night about a player, the countdown went from 20 to 1 then started again, for about 20 mins, I couldn't play my cards, (have you tried playing your cards when theres a dodgy connection) but luckily I was winning no matter what he did, so I just waited, waited and waited .....

The more they are slow, the more patient I am. I only quit when the loss is guaranteed and that I want to avoid the "defeat+no more exp today" bug.

Hmm? Is there a bug for when you get defeated you'll get the maxed exp message from that point onwards?

Yea, if you win and it's max exp earned today then it's no drama, if you lose then it freezes up. Its mentioned in the iPad support section, obviously you have never lost Tuism

Well as someone who suffers from having a bad connection in about 75% of my games I'd like to apologize if it annoys anyone but it's nothing I can change. I'm using the only available internet connection in my area and it's using 3g cell towers. Downloading from the internet usually has me between 150 and 200 kilobytes p/s and the signal is very fragile, a cloudy day can sometimes disable it for me completely. My Ipad 2 is Jailbroken on 4.3.3 and as such i have access to apps in Cydia that disable certain aspects of the device to speed it up and this has helped a lot when running the game itself as there seems to be issues with it being a memory hog.

I have to agree about the bad connections. I haven't ever quit a game yet but I have to admit those games that stop every couple seconds do drive me crazy.
