He plays a Carnivale, I counter. Then he plays another. I Clothes Make The Man It, Then I pre-emptive strike it. So I put out my own Carnivale. And proceeds to copy it. He Scientific Espionage it - I get my copy, he gets my copy. He plays the carnivale. I counter it. I play the carnivale, he Scientific Espionages it again. He gets my copy. So we wait it out a bit while some Salais kick my ass slowly. Eventually he plays carnivale, I copy it, play my own... And I can't really remember what happened the rest of the game but I think I win by the skin of my teeth with carnivale tokens. Whew

Dear Brontobeuf You must've been cracking yourself when you drew your two Patronages AND a Doomsday It was a shame the network went out of sync, it would have been an epically boring game (for me)

This isn't so much an epic battle as an epic fail: I was facing a control deck who had wiped the board a couple times and had 5 Silvios out. Honestly I think he was showing off at that point. I had one card in hand (a 2/1 Arque) and he dropped I think it was Mysterious Stranger so of course I played my card, and then he drops Lassitude (all agents have a power of zero)! It would have been a nice combo except... Pretty soon all his Silvios had zero power and he quit the game. I don't know whether he figured they were immune or just decided to throw the game because I held on so long and he felt sorry for a newb. Honestly, if he'd stopped trying to play control and just swarmed with Silvios he would have won. (I have a theory that some of the high ranked players are actually play testers with full card access, who throw games rather than win them )

Opponent has Forgotten Temple on the table. I attack with Antonia De Magianis, it was neck n neck, I'm not sure if the ability activated first or I attacked first..... When I drew a Political Patronage I knew... the Temple activated first. I had in my hand: Devout Citizen, Mario Auditore, Change of Plans, Mysterious Stranger and some other stuff. He had one card in hand cos of course he spammed resource actions He Drops an Assassin's guild of mine and kills a Mysterious stranger. He drops a Pagan High Priest. I steal it with Change of Plans. Drop Citizen, lock We battled a while while I drew resource crap and attacked with a Stranger and an Antonio. Eventually he quit That was so interesting

I thought it was a familiar name. Are you building a temple deck with the first temple you drew? Well I guess you only CAN run one Temple Right But I didn't quit, it told me you quit? Weird??

I got victory but maximum xp earned today, I presumed you got a disconnect or something as you had technically won.

Does that mean in a disconnect both players score a win? I always thought it was whoever's connection dropped. Sometimes I get dropped and it says error in connection. Or else it says opponent has left - which is what showed for me in this case. Weird. Damn bugs
