I was just wondering what others think of this Femme Fatale deck I have. I have only lost once online with this deck so far, although I suspect it may have some weaknesses:
5x Paola 5x Coy Courtesan 5x Fiora Cavassa 5x Madonna Solari 5x Claudia Auditore, Assassin
2x Scientific Method 5x Knowledge is Power 2x Laboratory Research 5x Quick Study 3x Femme Fatale 5x Tactical Upheaval 4x Sudden Exhaustion
Essentially, the point of this deck is to spam courtesans early on whilst maintaining an income and a card advantage. I have included a variety of control cards as delays. Furthermore, I incorporated Madonna Solari so any courtesan which has been neutralized can be brought back to my hand.

Nothing wrong with this deck I guess. I also have a Crime/Scholar, Femme Fatale based deck, but mine includes Montirigionni to have a better chance of winning. Because most opponents will make sure that Femme Fatale never survives, once they see you play a courtesan deck. Btw, you should consider changing your decks name, it's a bit obvious. Maybe something like: Six Girls, One Cup... (j/k)

I tried making a Media/Crime version. I couldn't decide between "Turning Tricks" and "Clothes Make the Woman of the People".
The deck was awful though so I canned it.

My current FF deck is with Faith. I empty the opp hand, and then I play Madona to reach the combo. It's correct, better than the scholar version, but still weak to too many things (as all the Femme Fatale decks are).
In your list, an opp with some counters or tactical Upheaval have nothing to fear. He will ruin your combo at the very last moment and keep playing his cards until he eventually get the win.

Well, I was playtesting this deck online for some time and I have not really found Claudia Auditore, Assassin useful at all. Her ability is too inefficeint, and rather ineffective especially if the opponent packs a few borgia towers. Now, I have replaced her with Claudia Auditore to help with my card drawing. As far as tactical upheaval is concerned, and other counters, that's exactly why I packed Madonna Solari, so she can fetch "dead" courtesans back into your hand.

I think what Bronto is getting at is that your deck lacks threats. Your deck probably works well against basic agent rush decks as it's a control deck of sorts as well. However, it'll have a hard time against other control decks or discard/counter or even an agent rush deck that packs a few counters (as my main one does). I counter your three femme fatales, what is your win condition? He mentioned TU because a last second TU kills a courtesan and makes the femme fizzle as well (I love doing that, personally). That's the thing with femme fatale, it's great in some situations (I've lost to them) but a difficult matchup in several others. To strengthen the deck, you need to add other paths to victory.

Btw, if you want to see what we are talking about, I'm guessing that quite a few posters on this board have decks that are hard matchups for femme fatale. Friend us and give it a go and we can play a friendly match.

It's a hard combo to pull off, it's been said before, not by me but , as soon as I see a 2 courtesans on the table, i know exactly what my game plan is to counter you.
