I played two "Let he who is without sin" cards and the opponent had 4 cards and nothing happened after they resolved. Opponent still had all 4 cards.

This is probably the Papal Influence bug. Papal Influence can't be discarded.

This just happened to me as well. Not sure if there were any Papals in his hand at the time, but it definitely couldn't have been only Papals because he had 6 cards in his hand when I played 2 Let He Who Is Without Sin cards back to back. He was playing an Order/Faith deck, though. But yeah, neither time did the cards work. And he must have known as well, because I tried playing my own Papal right after that and he countered it with a Court Order. Stupid bug abusers.

Playing Papal Influence is allowed. And you play it as well. You know that your opponent can't empty your hand if you play them and still, you say "stupid bug abusers". Do you see the contradiction there?

I'm confused. Maybe they weren't bug abusers (sorry, it was late) but my point was that it seemed like they knew, because I wasted 10 points to use them while my opponent had a Court Order in hand. They didn't use the Court Order to get rid of my Let He Who Is Without Sin, but waited to use it on my Papal Influence.
Maybe that's not really abusing a bug...I guess you can't truly manipulate that like the Dante bug. Sorry. But are you saying that if I have Papal in my hand, then Let... also won't work?

Not on you no. Did you notice him play any discard in that game?

He did, but not Let He Who Is Without Sin. He used Mysterious Stranger...more than once. So my Let... will work if I have Papal but not my opponent? And will it work if the opponent has Papal but just not in his hand? Or does it not work if the opponent has Papal anywhere in his deck but not in his hand? And does Let... work after he uses Papal or does it become useless for the rest of the game?
I dunno, I can understand not Court Ordering a card you know won't work and instead saving it. If it's chance and you aren't intentionally playing Papal as a protection card, then that's not really exploiting or bug abusing. I do think it's different though if someone is using Under Arrest on Dante and someone uses the Dante glitch. I was at the end of a match I knew I was going to win and tried the Dante bug just to see if it worked for me. He wasn't Under Arrest or even being used ATM. That's something I personally wouldn't do even if it was purely chance that Under Arrest was used on him and I had the chance to save him. Of course, I also wouldn't keep Papal in my hand for protection if I knew my opponent was playing a discard deck. But whatever. I shouldn't have made the bug abusers comment because I really don't know what was going on with the other person.

Er, your question is pretty confusing. Here is how the papal influence bug works: If you were supposed to discard it, you won't. So it doesn't matter which discard action/agent/whatever hit you or your opponent, if you either of you were supposed to discard papal due to it being the highest cost in your hand or chosen with answered prayers, the effect is negated. I won't even comment on the bug abusing part cos I really find that pointless. Yes it's annoying, but really, I'd just quit and move on with my life of better games with other ppl and know its gonna be fixed soon

OK, things got mixed up. The problem I'm having is with Let He Who Is Without Sin. It doesn't make the opponent discard cards as it should. The mention of Papal above made me think the reason Let... doesn't work is because of/related to Papal. I'm not having any issues with Papal not discarding...I don't play with it much anymore, but it has always discarded after use/once neutralized.

The issue of let he who etc not discarding only comes up if the opponent is holding papal influence in their hand as highest cost card. The same with mysterious stranger or any other discard effect. If it tries to discard a papal influence, it doesn't.

OK so they are related. I get it now. That really sucks because I have such a good discard deck, too.

It's going to get fixed (soon I hope). I've been playing a lot of discard and this has been an issue quite a bit recently, although it only led to losses in a couple out of 15+ games where I couldn't discard their hand. It's just part of the game right now.

Anyone know when this is going to be fixed? With all the current bugs especially this one it becoming decreasingly fun to play.
