This is probably a stupid question, but it's kinda irritating me and I can't find any other posts about this. What is the benefit of Rosa/where is Rosa useful? I don't really understand what her purpose is when her power is decreased while blocking. She is more limited in neutralizing other agents because of that. She honestly just seems like a pointless card to me, so I'm hoping someone can make some kind of sense of her to me.

4/2 for 3 (I think). Fast offensive card with high power. I'd imagine, unless your opponent has no mobs, that most people block other agents with her instead of attacking. I USED to use her, but once I built my collection there are WAY better choices out there...

She doesn't lose power when she blocks. Also, the opponent always wants to trigger her flaw, and will block her instead of the fragile La Volpe or a Lanz. She's not my favorite Thief, but she's not that bad in a suicide rush.

I used her a lot when I first started, she's cost effective and a Theif so she benefits from Lanz and La Volpe, just as jmeredith said, once you have more cards there's better choices.

Oh, ok, I see. @bronto, what you said makes sense, except that she doesn't lose power...? She gets -2/-0 when blocked. I'm trying to learn the correct tcg terminology right now, so if she's not losing power, then what is she losing?

when she herself blocks she stays 4power/2health tuna, is what he was saying so if you use her as a blocker she is strong, where as obviously when she is blockED she loses her -2 power. the effect is only when she is blocked not when she blocks other agents.

So you can use her as a blocker that can kill a 4 health agent, or an attacker that will be weaker if blocked. If not blocked then you got a bonus 2 damage as opposed to the normal 2 damage that you'd get from (almost) any other 3 cost agent (assassin servitore for example)

rl: yeah, that's what I meant when I said "She doesn't lose power when she blocks". In the game guide, power is the attack of the agent. So, I was very correct with this sentence.

Oh, ok! I wasn't aware of that...I thought it was also when she blocks. Thanks for the clarification! I (obviously) haven't used or encountered her that frequently. Actually, I'm really not a fan of the black cards at all...maybe it's because I don't have the better ones yet, I dunno. But it seems like the only uses are thief rush and a Femme deck (I am keeping an open mind, though, and constantly look back at these cards to think about how I can use them in a deck). I know they are strong, though, because I've been creamed by them numerous times.
On a side note, is Ugo glitched? I blocked a 3/1 Order agent that wasn't official or had any extra powers with him, thinking that he would neutralize that agent before he received any damage. Unless I REALLY misread the back of the card (multiple times) or am really misunderstanding something, that shouldn't have happened.

Threat only works when the agent with threat IS BLOCKED, that means if Ugo is attacking. So if he IS BLOCKING he will still receive damage as normal.
You gotta take care and differentiate between blocked, blocking, campaigning, etc. these terms are specific and not interchangeable.

Threat kills when you are blocked, not when you block. So if you put Ugo on another agent, you are blocking, and threat does not apply. As for black cards, once you have some more you will want to move to the dark side

Oh wow. Freakin' semantics. A few of you have already said it to me (a few times, lol) about paying attention to how the cards are worded exactly. Not to mention that I've seen it in other posts. Maybe now it will actually click with me. The way these descriptions are worded is so simple that it should be really freaking easy to get, but over analyzers be overanalyzing. Me included, obviously. But that's easy to do. I bet the devs had fun with creating the card descriptions, though.
