Hi everyone! New to the game and I really love it. Built and revised this deck from a post I saw a few minutes ago. Really love the idea. Kind of changes the whole game's perspective for me. Not quite sure if this is the place to post this though.
I'm simply playing through the challenges and story mode after my $20 spend on the game. Bought a bunch of Templar and mixed packs and ho ho ho! I came across a few nice cards so I decided to tweak this magnificent work a bit; noticing that it was kind of slow when it was against Site match ups. I was thinking, it's a bit weak perhaps because it's limited to only Templar cards. Why not add Assassins in there?
So here's what I did:
4 Teodor Viscardi 5 Discreet Calling 5 By Order Of The King 2 Faux Pas 4 Dante Moro 3 Tactical Upheaval 2 sudden Exhaustion 5 Forced Inheritance 3 Preemptive Strike 5 Lanz 5 Court Order 1 La Volpe 2 Antonio 2 Ezio Auditore, Assassin 2 Cesare Borgia
So imagine an unlimited card pool. How can I make this deck faster and more efficient? Are my changes worth it? Did it make an improvement or ruined the deck?

5 dantes without borgia tower is to much.

I was thinking the same. But I was relunctant to reduce it at first because of the income it gave as well as the reason that it's a main contributor to the deck. I'll edit the post and reduce it by one.

hi there, welcome to the forum. here are some basic suggestions:
take out the following: 1 teodor viscardi 2 faux pas 2 no rest for the wicked
although he's a great early game income boost, teodor viscardi can just be flying to the archive if you're not supporting them too well (ie. borgia tower). it's better to start with a By Order, then summon a Teodor to gain more income early off, so since these guys are tutorable, i recommend playing only 4, just like your dante moro's. too many faux pas can lead to terrible topdecks late game when your opponent is playing heavy cost cards; faux pas can have a tendency to just sit in the hand. and, your main attack force already are big enough to handle agents (Cesare), destroy agents naturally (Ezio), or can recover from heavy blows (Lia) if necessary, so No Rest can be a bit redundant, especially when you're playing Untimely End. that much creature removal can really screw you up against site heavy decks.
try adding:
1 antonio magianias 1 forced inheritance 3 preemptive strike
antonio is necessary as a constant threat against site decks, plus he benefits from Lanz and also has his own THREAT ability to keep him safe in campaigning. adding 1 more forced inheritance will help ensure a higher chance of opening with it or drawing into it sooner, while playing 5 can lead to the same issues as too many teodor/dante/faux pas/etc.. and, if you can afford them, preemptive strike are just amazing—one of the best cards in the game due to their built-in card advantage—so get these if you can. if you can't, try playing 1 more untimely end, and perhaps 2 sudden exhaustion (to synergize with tactical upheaval as well as provide some defense early game while you're racking up income for your big finishers.)
hope this helps.

Before I make any changes, what do you think about Volpe? And I think I'll take out Royal Decree and run 2 Antonio

La Volpe is an amazing thief card, especially when Lanz is your main attack force. But since you are playing so many heavy hitters already (Lia, Ezio, Cesare), it's a little redundant to add even more power. if you were to add La Volpe, I would recommend taking out the Lia's in their place in order to return focus back to Lanz and Antonio.

Just one La Volpe is good. More is ok, but not needed. Expensive and not a very good fighter. You can search for it when you have been hit by Sudden Exhaust or Lassitude to get Lanz and Antonio back on the field.
La Volpe... man or woman btw? :]

Lol. I'm pretty sure la Volpe is a man despite his... Feminine name. Gonna go make changes now.
