Someone on touch arcade forum helped me on this: I Cannot play on 3G! (SUCKS!) Only Wifi works. sigh. My wife does not want to install/set-up the WIFI function. She fears security/hackers issues. I need to walk 300m to a public club to play. Will convince her I need to set up the wifi

My wifi is from 3G cellular towers (rural area), probably why this thing consistently stutters through 75% of games. Tethered to my iPhone is even worse. Hopefully something will be changed to improve the situation but I doubt it.

Hopefully something will be changed to improve the situation but I doubt it. I run on either 3G on iPad itself or Wifi that comes from a 3G dongle. In South Africa everyone uses 3G. I have very little problem while playing - sometimes it stutters but I suspect it's not my connection at fault as it works MOST of the time. Wifi is secure as long as your password is set up. I've not heard Wifi getting hacked... most companies are on Wifi connections (just walk around any urban area and look at your Wifi and you'll see). You can even set your wifi to blind so that people don't know your wifi is there unless they know the name of your wifi connection.

Maybe a good argument to present to your wife is to have your Wifi router installed by a professional. So security will be maximised. My wife doesn't like Wifi for health issues. I had to search on the web for official stuff to show her to convince her it was safe. So I know what you feel Raph.

hahahha, i've long solved the problem. heh heh. I simply convince her that her games (she's a gamer too) will run better on wifi.

I'd say pretty good, people in the same industry tend to share the same interests. Or at least likely to
