This is probably a carousel issue, but I had AC fail on me twice today while I was picking a memory with Family Heirloom.
The first time (after the carousel was closed for FH) I got the message there were no memories in the discard pile (there were 13 - I made a screen shot).
The second time I simply got an empty carousel (11 cards in the discard pile) and hence could not select anything and had to quit the game.
