Just thought I'd share some thoughts These aren't really "power" cards, they're just good and general purpose enough to include in almost every deck of that colour. And to me that makes them more than power
Much of this has already been said, I was really just feeling bored and wanting to start a discussion
Gold / what do they call gold? "Gold"?
Tactical Upheaval
Use it if your deck doesn't like 0 power walls like Amerigo and Dante. Use it if you have agents and want to cycle through your deck for key cards. Use it in the right deck and it's gold. It's situational but I love it so much
Sudden Exhaustion
It's surprise speed agent "removal". Couple it with Tactical Upheaval and you can kill almost anything with annoying abilities that TU can't handle by itself (like the Borgia girl, Master Engineer, Gaspar, etc) at surprise speed for 5 gold and 1 card. AND it has income.
Black / Crime
Discreet Calling
Ace - income boosting PLUS solution fetching. Unless you're playing a zero thief/mercenary deck, you need 5.
Fabio Orsini
Together with Discreet Calling this underrated dude can clear a field full of officials or thieves. Can even make Grimaldi useless if timed right. Only thing is he is susceptible to Untimely End.
Paola
Zero cost income booster AND brilliant if a game drags out. Get in early, useful later. Just a shame she's not a merc or a thief.
Cento Occhi Footpad
Pack one. So you can fetch it with Discreet Calling if you didn't start with good enough income.
Red / Faith
Mysterious Stranger
2/1, so he can block kill just about any other 3 cost attacker. And a discard. AND +1 income. This guy's just a better Santa Claus - just as mysterious, just as stranger-like, and gives a lot more.
Basilica Di San Pietro
Take 5 with, if you ever draw two, DON'T play them at the same time. Played on top of each other, those two Basilicas will be worth +2 every day.
Purple / Media
Magnetic Personality
Unless you stick it into an agentless deck, this +3/+3 surprise will work in just about any deck. Used for those last points, to kill a walls, chumps, anything. It's great.
Role Reversal
Sites are becoming really popular, and Role Reversal, timed right, is the only way to stop a well-timed big site drop from ruining your day. +1 doesn't hurt either. It's basically Sudden Exhaustion for sites. That can't be a bad thing.
Blue / Order
Teodor Viscardi
Teddy V is Order's Paolo. Good zero cost income boost and late game super 4/4 advantage.
Dante Moro
If you like your agents, you'll love Dante. Income boost with a bite. Nuff said.
By Order Of The King
Not as cool as Discreet Calling, but if you're short on income grab Teddy V. If you're on the offensive grab something in your price range at the moment. Good income boost without losing card advantage.
Forced Inheritance
Best pure Income boost in the game.
Court Order
Counterspell. Duh.
Green / Scholar
Knowledge is Power
Free card income boost. Not as good as Discreet or By Order, but still it's a free lucky packet income boost.
Nicolaus Copernicus
He's big enough to engage in more than one typical battles, kill, and come back for more, and if he scores even once he's paid for himself. Score more than once and he's imba.
In-depth Analysis
Unless you're facing Scientific Espionage, having +2 cards instantly is great. If you're facing scientific, well, too bad for you. That's +3 to opponent.
Your thoughts?
